During the interview with Pat Ryan about Chicago2016 that was basically a publicity stump speech, as Ryan rambled on about the oversight and transparency they answer to, he invoked the IOC. To which Hanley sarcastically interjected "well they've always been upstanding..." It was openly disdainful, and great

It was good. They can be as transparent as they want today. Forecasts are crap. Remember Millenium Park with all that corporate sponsorship? When the bills start to mount well above expectations it is cash in my wallet that will be transparent. |

That's something I wish they asked: considering most Olympics are financial sinkholes, and most projects in Chicago are financial sinkholes, how could Chicago2016 not turn into a financial vortex? |
