Post subject:  THE Morning Ratings- a Historical Look

I am pretty sure Murph and Fred had beaten the ESPN Giant at some time? (I dont do ratings stats because I dont follow them or understand them) M&F had a good show, nothing Great, no great segments, just informed comments with some information behind them to back them up.

Now Mully and Hanley beat Mx4 (Mike/Mike Morning Machine) and a congrats to them for the work they have put into their show.

So now we look back at the guy who "OWNED" the 5 years of losing to a National Sports Talk show! Mr. Mike North!

The man had unlimited access to whatever he needed, money, support, on air sidekicks, producers, time and he could not beat Mx4?

And then, I am not 100% sure of this, when he did his first web radio show, he had Mike Greenberg on to talk about how hard it is to beat them because they have everything behind them?

History is a bitch! or did I miss something here?

BIGFAN, If you saw a bum laying on a street corner, are you the kind of guy to kick him in the balls just for laughs? Mike North seems to have hit every branch on the tree on the way down!

I believe they won that slot a few times. I'm trying to recall though whether M&M had such strong backing as the simulcast cable show. Certainly they didn't have cameos and football announcing gigs with da Coach. Although, I don't know these things translate into ratings for the radio show...

Yeah, North didn't win, and Mully/Hanley needed time to undo the damage Mike left to that slot.

You know, the day I look at a billboard and say to myself, "that's what I need to be listening to"... Well, its a long time a'comin'. And I'm betting against its ever happening. Just, y'know, in case all this sarcasm about billboards goes over Papi's head.

Would like see North address this FACT one day. Clearly remember him having Mike Greenberg on his show giving excuse after excuse why MVP beat him in ratings all the time.
North deserves a daily reminder what a boob he became.
The fall from the top is often harder.

That's true, it's not fair that instead WE get the daily reminder every morning on CSN.

I meant 'WE' in general, JohnJerk. I don't watch that shit, and apparently not many other people do either. It still aggravates me that it exists, however.
