For those who don't hear the start of the show, Mully shot down a caller who said the offensive line was lousy..."there was no defense. You can't blame this on the offensive line". (keep in mind he is on record as having said the line was going to be fine going into the season and more recently that they were at least average).
He then commented to Brad Biggs that the Bears had numerous injuries..."How could you possibly play football when you're missing such key players?"

did the caller blame the loss on the offensive line, or did he just say that it was aweful?

I guess I don't look at that as being an apologist, because I agree that the offense takes a backseat in this car of blame...

Mully knows the ultimate issue there and the small issues.

Mully has ripped the drafting as much as anyone. He even asked for a media guide to start naming the busts and they have them! The lack of draft picks that are now contributing is the issue and it will snowball!

I just opened a thread a few days ago about this. Go to USATODAY (Link in other thread in Bears section) & it lists all draft picks by position for every team by year.
