Kudos to these guys for having a guy on to discuss high school basketball recruiting who had, GASP! , actual facts about why guys like Scheyer and Turner didn't go to Illinois, the problems Illinois identified in their recruiting, and some of what they've done to correct it.

It was refreshing to hear someone discuss the actual issues rather than just scream "ILLINOIS CAN'T RECRUIT" or "EVERY HIGH SCHOOL KID FROM ILLINOIS HATES ILLINOIS SCHOOLS".

Perfect example is that next year they might be too deep in Champaign. Who sits? Richardson? McKamee? Richmond? Paul? Head? and thats just the guards that are looking for playing time.

Try and sit Richmond and see how that works out? Can you say Transfer?

Even the big men that they have coming in, who are suppossed to be really good, are they going to play right away.

I really doubt Weber will do things the way Calapari does "Ya know , you aren't going to play much this year..so why dont you call one of those other schools and see what they can do for you?"
