Yes, giving away a chance to hang with Aikman the night before he does the Bears game would be awesome.

I think Aikman, would be such a great GM for a team. The guy is total no nonsense and he seems like a guy that knows talent when he sees it.

I have him ranked as the 2nd best QB of all time! Yes, I know it's a bold statement, but outside of Marino who delivered a ball quicker than anyone ever, Aikman delivered the ball on a rope! The velcity his throws had got the ball their as quick as anyone.

Insanity.

You mean to tell me if both were in their prime, behind equal offensive lines and throwing to the equal WR's, you're taking Aikman over Manning?

Aikman would be a stretch to be in a top 5 of all time. To be honest, I wouldn't really bat an eye if someone gave me a top ten without him included.

I've met troy before. Cool guy...pretty down to earth. Roger Staubach didn't have the stats that troy did...but I think he was a better over all QB than troy.

what's the contest?

If you're just talking arms Aikman would be in the conversation with Marino, Elway, Manning. Don't know if Aikman would have done as well in an offense without the weapons that he had. The other guys did it with many different guys around them. Aikman basically had Smith, Moose, and Irvin his whole career.

Depending on his 'best' of all time is, its gun-to-head insanity.

(Didn't include Unitas 'cause I never saw him play)

1. Dan Marino
2. Peyton Manning
3. Joe Montana
4. John Elway
5. Tom Brady
(6. Brett Favre)

If the WR's are Rice, Sharpe, Irvin...I take Aikman, if they are Stokely, Proehl and Sheffler I take Manning.

I love what Manning does and he is a genius, but pure throwing Aikman 2nd best to only Marino. I am not talking just about throwing deep (Jeff George like, or Favre), these guys threw the ball like a dart, on a line, quickets release, DB's had no time to come and get it.

Not just THE ARM, as Jeff George, Randall Cunningham, etc had great arms, but Aikman had a strong arm and just got the ball to the spot faster than anyone else, outside of Marino. Elway, Favre, with the big windups

Well, yeah, by arm I mean accurate not just strong.

Aikman accuracy as good as anyone.

When I add it all up, Manning is number 1, no doubt. The results this guy has got from Mediocre WR's is amazing. He made guys (Harrison and Wayne).

It is great how he gets final say on WR's. He makes it clear that they will work with him ib the offseason or they are not on the team and it pays off.

i am not sure that Aikman would be top 10. And Manning is benefitting from the pussification of the game.
