I think I may be coming around to the way many of you feel about Mully
and Hanley. I have defended them in the past but my 15 minutes in the
car today made me want to drive off the road. I'd prefer it if these two
never discuss golf on the show ever again, they sounded stupid talking
about something they know absolutely nothing about. They couldn't
even get the winner's name right.

I listen to Mike and Mike in the mornings.

M&H are awful. It's radio filled with really terrible jokes and the fact that they rarely know what they are talking about.

Painful radio every morning. I have no idea how this city cant put on a decent morning show. Mike and Mike and Mully and Hanley are possibly the worst combo in the history of sports radio. You try to escape Mully screaming at you while Hanley tells a lame joke that he has to explain and you flip it over to hear Greeny creaming in his pants about some Jet player and Golic struggling to put together a coherent thought. Bad, bad, bad.

I will put mike and mike on in the car for 2 reasons.

1. Its decent as background noise and aside from the updates I really pay no attention to them. I can hear what I want to hear and tune them out if I want.
2. It's the only sports related thing I can get on the radio here. I can pull the score occasionally but only at night.

I spend my mornings NOT listening to the radio. Reading the opinions in this thread,it looks like a good move on my part.

Shows are getting more and more painful with terrible callers.

first I need to listen to Steve Stone tell me the Cubs dont have any speed....for the third week in a row...and then they take a call, and the caller just wants to say what a great job Stone does on the games with PACIOREK and how classy of an owner Reinsdorf is.

Now, nobody stops the caller, nobody corrects him, until he corrects himself. There was a great chance to inject some comedy, but bypassed.

The morning show has too much crap jammed in and nothing goes with the flow, everything is the next interview, promo, commercial, TRAFFIC!, etc, Need to open this baby up a little!

I sent in a text saying immediately after this saying "I love how a Sox employee comes on to talk about the Cubs...."

When he is talking about Baseball in general, he is not a Sox employee, but when he is done he goes back to it.

Stone might have some good points on something, but no longer try to pick them out of his bag of crap analysis and cub and Hendry shots.

I miss North on the radio, I don't miss Mike North's idea, concepts, productions, etc.

Life would be so much better for this guy if he just had some common sense.

I thought people used to like M&H quite a bit when they did 10-noon. Was it that they did a nice enough two-hour mid-morning show that wasn't Mike North, but are now overexposed in morning drive? I think I've listened to about one hour of their morning show over the past three years. It's not that I dislike them (though you guys have given me plenty of reasons why I should), I just prefer Morning Edition over sports talk if I'm up at that hour.
