Excited about the Bulls game last night so I figured I'd give this show another chance. Big mistake.

Mully complaining that "Wade and Lebron get every call known to man" is laughable.
Oh well. No sports talk until 9.

I tried Mike and Mike first. They were talking about the biggest national story from the weekend. Jorge Posada and the Red Sox sweep of the Yankees.

Talk about damning with faint praise. Yeah, it's better than traffic, and the guy next door cutting his lawn.

Its better than The Good morning shows. But I use it as a time barometer. When I hear Mully's annoying voice, I know its time to be out of bed. When I hear their stupid Tweet at us ad, its time to be out the door.

 I do the same thing....I try to leave out of my door by 7:55 every day, and their "Tweet Us" ad is usually always around :55-57...

They must be intentionally trying to get people to stop listening by playing high pitched music at loud volumes. I guess high pitched to distinguish from Mully's normally high volume shouting.

LeWade did get a ton of calls! Everytime a player jumps up on defense and you jump into them it is not a defensive foul. The player has the right to vertically jump and if the offensive player causes the foul, it is supposed to be an offensive foul.

The reason Carlos Boozer is struggling is because Rose isn't a prototypical point guard and doesn't give him the ball in the best position like Deron Williams did.

Rozner laid this gem out today.
Awesome.

This reeks of "I read it somewhere else and passing it off as my original thought"

That's not too bad. Though it's not the reason Boozer is struggling (that's his inability to jump), all year they haven't put him in the best position to succeed. Now it's an easy argument to make that it's more important for the team that Rose succeeds than Boozer.

Rozcrest should stick to bashing Vancouver and leave the Bulls to people who actually understand the game.

Why is it that the morning show in this city always has to cater to the dumbest goddamn people around?

Mully doesn't want to see Adam Dunn just walk back to the dugout with his bat on his shoulder after striking out. Hanley compares it to Lovie Smith standing passively on the sidelines and says "At least with Ditka you knew he was pissed".

And a caller asks if Dunn has ever had his eyes checked and Mully comes back with "I like your thinking."

It's my own fault for listening, but there's only so much Chris Broussard I can stomach.

I think this thread title should be changed to "Everyone Gets an Orange Slice" radio. This idiots remind me of the whiny parents that want every game to end in a tie so no one gets their feelers hurt.

Pussies

Straight out of the Steve Rosenbloom school of radio broadcasting. The Sox have just won 3 straight over a good on paper Boston team in spite of Adam Dunn and that is all they can talk about are his struggles. He is killing us but if it were not him that was struggling, something tells me they would be focusing on someone else even if it were an obscure guy that rarely plays or someone that no one expected to do anything like Brent Morel. It's the nature of sports radio

Ha. I was waiting for this. Mully and Hanley run the good cop/bad cop routine to perfection. Great radio.

I think you mean they run the Good Cop, Developmentally Disabled Cop routine really well.

I wanted to crash into the nearest house when I heard the "Soriano for Dunn" call. I knew exactly where he was going about a five words in.

It helped A.J. a while back to get new lenses and Bryce Harper just a few weeks ago.

How fitting that this show has Phil Rogers as a baseball "expert".
