During today's crosstalk, we almost had another Mike/Mike brawl, but this time it's North/Mulligan NOT Murphy/Mulligan. An obviously irritated North began ripping Mulligan for the theme of his columns, and for being in Bourbonnais, not the studio. North basically told Mulligan he was a shill for the Bears and kissed their asses at every turn. This all started with North attacking Mully's column in today's paper. After a little digging, it became obvious that North NEVER EVEN READ THE COLUMN. Drinky, Anne, and Hanley all commented that someone should read the column to Mike, if he couldn't. "I don't read columns with stupid headlines," claimed the high school dropout. North then slammed Mulligan because he was broadcasting from Bears camp, not the studio. Mulligan claimed Score duties had him there. North then said, "The Sun-Times is the reason you're there, not the Score." Talk about hypocrisy. Isn't North the same guy who proudly did shows from Pappyland with phones ringing and dogs barking in the background? I have to wonder why did North attack jolly ole Mully? Murph went after Mully and acted as if Hanley wasn't even in the room. North was being attacked by several teammates, yet also pounced on Mulligan, not Hanley, not Drinky, not Cruella DeVille. Anyone have any idea why Mulligan is such a target? Hey Chunga, maybe bringing back cross talk wasn't such a good idea after all. |

Mully is loud and strong with his opinions, while Hanley is more subtle, I like them both. Another reason why Northy fought Mully is maybe ole Mitch might be movin M&H to the mornings. |

After sparring with Drinky for 4 hours, North was a bit feisty and since he didn't have to look at Mully face to face and worry about a beatdown, he went after him. Well, that's my guess |

Ahahaha, North just said there wasn't going to be a crosstalk today. Sweet, 15 more minutes of Mully and 15 less minutes of Nort. |

The plot thickens.... North also went out of his way to compliment Mully's column today. What a spineless douche. |

im not sure whats more funny, the arguments that those guys get into or the people's opnions here about how serious it all is. i really think you guys are digging way too deep into everything that is said. you know these guys are just spittin stuff out without thinking, of course there will be harsh words. i like mully and hanley ok too, but if they were on at 6am i would never wake up. i like mike screamin and yellin right off the bat, its a good wakup alarm. |

North sucks...he knows that Hanley and Mulligan have a better show. Maybe Mulligan complained about North hanging around for the first 20 minutes of the show... |

I don't think Mully is a lightning rod. Murph and North are both just children. They don't like have facts thrown back in their faces. Both provide little knowledge to the listener. That's why I love Murph's "Miss a little, miss a lot" comments. I don't miss his overabundunce of White Sox cheap shots. I hate when he tries drawing some comparisons to the fans or the teams. STRETCH!!!!!!!!!! I used to enjoy him when he was at WLS, but now he has too much Cubbie Kool-Aid going through his veins. As for North, he's just full of himself. His "Swiss Cheese" commentaries are laughable -- at best. |

I'd listen to Mulligan if he was paired with Haugh. Hanley is like nails on a chalkboard to me. |

No way. I want David to be paired with double-Z. The White Sox talk that morning was hilarious. |

Mully reports based on interviews, facts and what he sees. North tosses out opinions with very little backing. I know it's North's job to entertain, but Mully has his shit down. |

Mulli and Hanley is one of the best sports shows in Chicago. I enjoy Haugh more than Hanley, but I take what I can get. |
