Sorry I am late in posting this, but why exactly did they have to do their show from New Orleans on Monday?

However pointless it was, it was made 10,000% by the sound quality. Seriously, give the interview with Brad Biggs a listen. Just awful! It sounded worse than a local junior high's attempt at radio!!!! Their level of screaming, apparently because of the horrendous engineering, was especially high too.

It was (even more?) embarassing to listen to than usual!!!

I'm glad you reminded me. Speaking of Brad Biggs, that guy just flat-out needs to lose some weight. Normally I don't care about a sports-talker weight, but when you're so fat that you sound like you just finished a 5-mile run at all times, it's time to give your diet some thought. The guy was just sucking wind throughout. Between the M&H sound quality and Brad Biggs' Fatty McGee-esque wheezing, that interview was special.

Great Hanley led show today huh?

The Worst

Yeah if there was any doubt about the awfulness of Hanley today should end it.

The worst was cutting of Ken Rosenthal and Rozner, who were having an inteesting discussion about the Cubs GM position, to shoehorn a lame joke that a "texter sent in".

Rosenthal sounded pissed too. I think he even dropped "PLease let me finish"

It's as though Mully looks for any reason to avoid the family. No reason for him to be in NO. He is a contributor, not a columnist.

THe radio quality was pure shit. Mully sounded like he hungover for the first 2 hours.

I never understand all these remotes/trips these shows take. Who gives a shit if they are glad-handing with the public (or making a sponsor happy). For the other 99.9% of listeners, we have to endure crappy show production.

Mully looks like Rosie O'Donnell.

HOLY CRAP. They are using that horrid audio from Monday as a "listen to this show, this is how WE talk about BEARS FOOTBALL" clip!

The audio sounds like garbage, someone is humping a mic wire or stuck their cell phone in their man purse, and the Mulligan Musing was awful per usual!

Someone took the time to cut that up and CHOSE to play it throughout the broadcast day!?!?!

Rosenthal sounded annoyed by Hanley's interruption, that is for sure.

Hanley and his one liners are annoying for sure. But someone needs to take windbag Mully aside and teach him how to work with a partner. The guy is the Allen Iverson of hosts. Total black hole for words...or maybe Jannero Pargo.

Sadly, it's not just words. He also fills a lot of air-time with various guttural sounds. It's as though his contract stipulates he be paid on a basis of how much time his voice is heard on air.

why do they need to have Brad Biggs on every single day??

i mean fine, have him on once or twice a week. but every single day? he's pretty much an extension of M&H, unfunny and uninteresting

Sounds as if someone else paid for this trip for a few WSCR people.

The Bears actually took a large number of sponsors down there as a thank you as well.

Maybe a station puts a little effort into something like this one day again?

I've wondered this. From day-to-day it's not like there are many interesting developments. I think M&H just have so few original thoughts, they need to have as much filler as possible.

His intro music is the ONLY good thing, consistently, about this show - so unless they're going to edit Gammons' or Rosenthal's name in to BIGGS TIME.....Bradley's breathy delivery STAYS.
