Unbelivable, G.M's only go on this show because of the softball questions and ass licking they will receive. |

Both other shows have been branded persona non grata by most sports teams. Sad. |

I look forward to them re-asking the same questions asked today - you know, the press conference they carried on their own airwaves. I then look forward to Screamy asking a long-winded question that contains the answer he is looking for, having Theo agree to it, then having Punny following up with the same question that Screamy just asked. Dumb show that is only made worse by callers who call in and claim that they love the show, and love what the format that these guys use to discuss sports. |

He is on M&H at 8:30...then on S&W at 9:00. Might be interesting to compare. Or not. |

Yea, he was on WGN News this AM too. It's scheduling. |

Mully should not be allowed to speak during this interview yet he will.....and he will somehow find a way to mention the Sox. |

He's codifying things! I love it. I may convert just to be part of the inner circle of Chicago. |

He's great. The vertical integration and coaching stuff among all levels of the organization is fantastic. |

Am I the only one who thought that sucked? All they did was regurgitate what was said in every other interview he did yesterday, but as usual, there was nothing new and nothing that challenged him at all. Will espn to a better job or more of the same at 9am? |

Will espn to a better job or more of the same at 9am? Yea I thought it was bad. There weren't any interesting questions, and it allowed Theo to fall back and speak to the same topics he has already talked about for the last 24 hours. Only real interesting nugget I got was the details on how important it is for coaches to even use the same verbiage throughout the system. Thought that was a good story. Asking about Ryno was a good idea too, but Theo wouldn't go there, obviously. |

That's exactly why he chose to go on with Dummy and Handjob. Again, common sense suggests he didn't choose them per se. Since he has been on WGN, 670 and next ESPN, I'm guessing they are lining these interviews up in the AM so he can actually go and work the rest of the day. |

Silvy will have a better interview, I guarantee. I stated yesterday that I thought it was bad for The Score to have their weakest link do this interview. In turn, ESPN will have their strongest guys do a Theo interview. |

Right, but those are all staid, professional news organizations. The closest thing the Score currently has to that is the morning show. He wasn't going to put himself in a position where some clown might ask him if he'll shave his head if the Cubs win the World Series. |

The man probably wants to get this crap out of the way and move on with that. That means doing morning interviews, no matter who is the host. I could be wrong, and it could be by design... but my gut says he'd like to get it over with and start doing his job. |

But the style of show put on by B&b and, to a somewhat lesser degree, Danny Mac, precludes them from landing certain interviews. |

Agreed and I'm not sure anyone would argue that, including B&B themselves. But IMO, that had nothing to do with today. |

Insanely disappointing, even for these two fellas! Are they simply encoded with a milquetoast morning radio gene that doesn't allow them to ask questions not already pounded into the ground? I know people are wanting something comfortable and not in your face in the morning, but these two have certainly taken that to an extreme that no one seems to like! LOL |

Perhaps the style of show prevents them from landing guests, but even the most staunch of B&B critics have to admit that B&B are the best on the station at conducting interviews - Bernstein in particular. |

I agree. But best for the listener is not necessarily best for the interviewee. |

Yeah but I don't care about what's best for the interviewee. I'm selfish that way. Make me a bicycle, clown! |

They did a much better job and mixed real questions with fluff stuff. Definitely something to podcast later. |

Awful interview, same shit as yesterday. Mully shouldn't be allowed to talk anything but football, and that's being nice. |

What the hell are the supposed to ask him? He's been on the job for less than 24 hours at this point so of course everything is still sunshine and rainbows (especially rainbows in the Cubs hood). I'm not saying M&H are good, but I'm not sure what you expect the media to do at this point. |
