I read everyday on various threads how Mully and Hanley are a bunch of boobs and idiots and they want them gone. Where does this animosity come from? I hear about extra love for Herb Lawrence and the way Mully treated him. Is this over the "coffee incident"? Everything I have gathered, Herb wouldn't get Mully coffee because it is not part of his job description. Also, Herb didn't like the menial tasks he was given? Does anyone understand that being on the air for 4 hours can be a little taxing? THe guy gets 4 or so minute break. I'm sure he has to take a piss occasionally. God forbid, a cup of coffee can be made for him. Herb is a producer. Produce a cup of Joe for the talent. Sure Mully has a lot of energy in the morning and Hanley thinks he is at Zanies but the show could be a lot worse....and it was a lot worse pre-Mully/Hanley Who would you guys want to replace these guys? The one thing the show needs is to be tinkered with. SOmeone take Mully aside and tell him to not dominate the show 80%. Also, Hanley, needs to assert himself and not contain himself to the random one-liner. |

Do you remember the Rick Telander show on the Score? Do you remember that only J. Hood got the blame for that? Mully is too screamy and I worry about his health. The yucks wear off quickly and he is just yucky to me. |

Its Seacrest And there is a lot of assumption there about the coffee incident. We know nothing of the coffee incident other than Mulligan was upset about the coffee one morning. It probably has nothing to do with the recent Herb thing. Hanley said something this morning right off the bat that was terrible. Ill post it when I remember. It was a good one. |

Mully & Hanley are hard to hate. Also hard to be a fan. They are vanilla. |

Doesn't this show have interns to get the coffee? I would assume the show's producer has better stuff to do than fetch coffee. |

I agree with Quad. I'd like to see Mully & Hanley get a break, preferably for a year or more. That's pretty lame to call out Herb for not getting coffee when it's not his job. Do they think that he sits around and does nothing? He has things to do too. Thinking he should just drop whatever he's doing to get him some coffee marginalizes what a producer does. |

The show isn't perfect but few are. SOmetimes I wish Mully would tone it down and let others speak. I blame Rosen more than anyone. However, the Score's two man booths always have 1 dominate guy and one guy who throws in a few things here and there. (Mac Spiegs don't count since Mac is barely there). The alternatives are rather bleak. Rosey and whomever? Rozner? |

The issue is that the show isn't good, and it's pathetic that in a city like Chicago, the only options for sports talk in the morning are these 2 boobs or a shitty national show. |

Buffone I think was still around on the show, too. |

Every so often I will find them ok or even good....but those times are few and far between. Rosenbloom is fucking terrible as well. His wannabe snark shit-eating delivery, bad jokes and 'I try so hard to be cynical' bullshit is too much. He sucks cock, plus he is always snorting and stuff on the air. Just terrible. |

WSCR management, in n attempt to counteract ESPN who had just signed Jay Mariotti, decided to repackage the Hood & Buffone show (the remnant of e Bull and the Bear). Not only was it renamed the Rick Telander Show, but Hood did the heavy lifting and the routine. Rick showed up half-interested to talk about te column he wrote and had no interest in interacting with his co-hosts and even less with callers. After the first month he began to regularly miss his own show, and it only got worse to the point where it became the Rick Telander show in name only (which he had to promote as such). Hood lost it after Telander was booked on his own show, called in and was a totally disinterested guest. |

I have a hard time listening to Mully and Hanley while they are Chicago guys talking Chicago sports they don't know when to stop with their shitty jokes that only the two of them think is funny. It's almost immediate punch the button when they start with that shit. Than you get Mike and Mike talking about how fat Golic is and the 3 minutes of sports talk followed by 57 mins of commericals. |

This is a message board full of sports radio geeks and they dont have ONE fan. Even defenses of them start with "I know they're really bad but...." Im glad I dont listen to the radio at that time. I do listen for about 12 minutes a day. Thats always long enough to be offended at how terrible the comedy is. |
