You have a point. I'm starting to think that way about Berns. His writing's actually fairly impressive, if you're into the editorial style along the lines of Morrisey or Telander, but as his writing's gotten more eloquent his radio work has gotten worse.
Hearing guys like Haugh and the Dazzler who have a pretty well-rounded sports sense for all the teams across town and some skill behind a mic get relegated to spot duty while Loho and Goff have chucklefests over a period of hours blathering about their uninteresting hollow lives befuddles me.
At least it's nice to know there's a talented underbelly that could take over on a dime if there's a reshuffling.
