Mully is the only guy on either station that calls Lovie out for his coaching style! The lay back, put pressure on the team and force fumbles and overthrows is no doubt a recipe for long term life in the NFL! You will win more than you will lose, but you will not beat the better teams on a consistant basis. You need to install a real offense to win some games and not just maintain leads v Bad teams! I think it is an overall organizational theory of making sure winning seasons are the priority as these keeps season ticket holder renewing tickets! and that is what the McCaskeys care most about.. Houston will be a huge test...they dont turn it over and the offense takes up the most time of poss as any team in the NFL. Similar to Lovies thoughts. Monday morning will be interesting. |
