Just heard Mully and Hanley take a call from a guy that they obviously didn't agree with and thought he might not completely have all the facts.

And then they did something I rarely hear on the Score - they let the guy try to make his point. They didn't hang up on him and it actually was fairly entertaining.

I don't know if the guy was right about Mully and Hanley's earlier positions but it was better radio than hanging up on the guy and calling him a mouth-breather. I will keep listening if I can hear more of that.

I remember a call to the station last week, I think, where the listener gave a descriptive account of how the Bears should alter the Tampa 2. After about two minutes of this, B&B become silent and don't respond to the caller's ideas. They tried saying that they didn't understand him, and maybe there was a lot of football speak in the explanation. I was just upset that they chide the meatballers, then someone calls with a detailed point and they just shrug their shoulders.

That's why B&B are no longer a good listen. Mully and Hanley give the guys looking for detailed X's and O's some red meat. B&B is kind of a 4 hour inside joke, if you think the joke of the day is funny, you listen, if not you give up after a few minutes and move on to something else.
