The Bears looked exactly the same as they did with Lovie. They just have better players. He thought Trestman was supposed to be an offensive genius and they just looked ordinary.

He apparently was briefed by good dolphin.

Sounded like he wanted to go down a racial angle with why Lovie isn't coaching this year but said he "didn't want to go down that road" today.

I guess the reason that Lovie isn't coaching couldnt be that he's being paid what ,5 million to stay home? Nah,it must be because he's black. :roll:

Or possibly because he can't make gameplan adjustments over halftime. Or dope out offenses.

This was Jamie Dukes saying Lovie was fired because he was black, Simple.

or as he said it.

"....and you dont want to go down that street and you know what I am talking about " when asked why Lovie was fired.

It was foolish and if he has a job anywhere he should be fired. Considering I know what he is talking about, as he said. He left his comments open to my interpretation and not his.

Lovie was fired for not getting a team into the playoffs. Thats it. He was a fine Head coach who lacked Offensive thought and direction in a league that is based on offense. He was given more chances to get it right than 90% of all NFL coaches ever have.

So, to even insinuate that angle by Dukes is a terrible accusation and should come with some reprimand.

Bigfan is absolutely right. Dukes is an idiot. He got in a skirmish with M&H when Lovie was fired.

David Duke should also not be on the NFl Network and should be fired from any job the requires public support.

Now, if he wishes to run for public office and be voted in or out, go ahead.

Jamie Dukes can run for Mayor of his town. If he wins, great.

I do know that if Tom Waddle even hinted that a player lost his job because he was white, he would be fired or suspended at best.

Dukes sounded like a complete asshole today.
If you're going to say it grow your balls and fuckin say it and own it. If you don't have the balls to say it then don't pussyfoot around it like a scared twelve year old asking a girl out on a date.

The guy is a complete moron.

Lovie went 10-6 last year. How does a coach get fired after a record like that? Let's see. He STILL made mistakes in-game related to time outs and offensive playcalling, he picked several bad offensive coordinators and he didn't make the playoffs the last few years. If they make the playoffs last year, maybe he is still here, but he didn't. NOTHING to do with black or white.
