I think they've finally found the solution to improving this show: just get rid of Mully and Hanley, and replace them with anyone with a pulse. Voila! Instant, massive improvement.

Hub and Grote were better this morning.

Think about that for a minute. How terrible is your morning show when those two are a preferable listen?

Didnt listen, but could see Grote making Hub sound tolerable.

Why not just make the Grote, Mully and Hanley show official.

Because Mully & Hanley suck. Even Grote seems to tone it down a bit with the forced comedy with the other two knuckleheads gone.

Yeah no one is forcing him to do his impressions over and over again.

Trib's David Haugh in with Hanley this morning. Good show so far.
Haugh has some great insight about yesterday's "rolley coaster" Bears presser.

Show is better, but that Doug song was weird along with Doug laughing throughout. Creepy.

Show is WAAAY better without Mully. Nice, calm, and peaceful.

No surprise, Mully back and the show sucks. He laughs until he is hyperventilating about running over his snow shovel with his car. That's not funny you fatass, that's just stupid.

Hanley with a "I woke up today and felt like Ted Williams"

Then they guarantee San Diego will win the Super Bowl. Not because Rivers had a great year or because they have won 5 games in a row, but because since 2009 every team that has played on the road IN PHILLY the first round of the playoffs has made it to the Super Bowl. Saints, Packers, Giants....and the Ravens last year and now the Chargers this year.

Is Mully that fucking stupid that he doesn't realize the Chargers and Ravens are in a goddam different conference? Hanley just lets him go right along because its such a "shocking" stat, and Grote or anybody else behind the glass doesn't correct him either. For fuck sake if Meatpants made an error like this there would be a 10 page thread about it.

Oh my God, I thought listening to these two morons talk about sports was bad, but today they tried to take on music.

Uh, since the merger? Eagles are NFC, Chargers and Ravens(brown) AFC.

If Mully said what Francis posted, then he was and is correct.

Both Mully and Frank were wrong.

The Chargers and Ravens are in a different conference than the Eagles.

If they meant regular season, they didn't specify that and just rambled on and on and on about how the Super Bowl teams won in Philly in the playoffs.

This thread is worse than the M&H show.

I should have typed my post better, but the overall point still remains that Mully comes back and makes this a terrible show almost immediately.

Isn't it supposed to be the team that opened the season in Philly?

That's what I heard today, but they were going on and on about the Saints in Philly, and that is why the Chargers would win, and the Giants played there one year when they won. It was awful.

And I'm awful for continuing to post about this.

Post subject:  Re: Show's been great the last couple of days

This thread is like their show, a day late and still getting the convoluted information wrong. When I heard it the day before it was stated incorrectly (beating Philly in the first road playoff game) but corrected. M&H read the information and don't correct.

Same here. Can't Mac spare some of his vacation days to Mulligan?

Was Mulligan gone last week, too, or just M - Th this week? Either way, why would someone come back to work on Friday after having been off M - Th?

I would think that Screamy McRamblingquestion would need to rest his "instrument" at least as much as Spiegel.
