Keep asking those thought provoking questions. Don't pay any attention to the critics of your impeccable interview skillz.

Add: Just asked Tommy John if it was a source of pride to have the surgery named after him on the show today. You go, Mully!

And then didn't have a clue about what his charity group was about.

Great show prep?

It was bad. And you could clearly hear Mully grumble and bitch when Tommy John told him....

Bad.

Really trying not to defend Mully here, but when did you think they do SHOW prep? After the Hawks game and before the 5 AM show start. That 6 hour window I guess wasnt used well, if that is really your criticism.

Google Tommy John Charity. Takes two seconds.

Can do it during the 5 minute long opening statement Mully makes to the guest

I agree, but thats the producer job to write a quick summary of todays guest.

7:30 AM TOMMY JOHN - Promoting charity effort, selling Autographed Xrays

7:40 AM BRAD BIGGS - Breathing hard

Or have an intern do it and have a note so all Mully has to do is read it. Terrible show prep all around.

THis is why they lost to Mike & Mike. Mully sucks. He drags Hanley down and any sub for Hanley as well. Hanley, with the right partner, can be pretty good most of the time.

The problem with this show is Mully. When he is off and its Hanley and whoever (except Grote), he tones down the unfunny jokes and actually just talks sports. Its an amazing improvement from who he is when Mully is around. Its like Mully is the cool kid and Hanley is trying to impress him so he can keep hanging around.
