This morning ZZ asks M&H, have heard the news?

And Mully says "That the Bears signed Laurence Holmes but he couldn't go because he made a promise to Joe O and Herb to stay with them, so he declined the offer?"

NICE!

I guess now that we have heard 2 people on the air mock leary for his complete and self centered statement, I will just imagine he has become the joke of the station internally.

Sounds like Larry may need a new station to call home.

Not that he was ever being considered for anything at that station, but you can assume now he will never be considered for any future jobs there.

It's tough to seal your own fate like that! Nice work leary

You wouldn't be listening anyway, right?

Well, he's probably going to be okay there as long as his agent is running the station.

100% correct, havent heard leary outside of tranny or unless he sat in for someone (even then very short), in about a year.

And once again, I don't turn it off knowing he will be on, basically when you hear a grown man talking like a 7 year old and asking how his 'Uncle Teary is".....<click>

Zimmerman loves Learys deals, all those nights that leary isnt on the air due to real shows and white sox baseball get reallocated as subbing in for others when they take off and Zimmerman doesnt have to pay money to the Subs.

Of course, now that Spiegs might have a little more power, it's quite obvious he can do without Leary as well, so that might be an issue going forward
