Postgame Bears for the first month usually sucks because of those very valuable Sept Sox games, that Zimm forgot to negotiate into the deal.

Yet, waking up the morning after a Bears game when it comes to Mike&Mike v M&H,,,,,,M&H wins by a huge margin. It is their wheelhouse. Best guests, best info, only show with a guy in the pressbox and at the press conferences, etc.

I guess, the only option is 87.7 ,as Haugh and Kap can give good BEAR! But then who is on after them? and do they have a Bears post?

So, when does this Johnny B thing end?

In fairness to biggie, M&H are pretty horrible when it's not football season.

Not even sure they are going to be able to keep me with WSCR. Already on the TheGame today and if I find a new clock radio with some digital presets at CVS, that make station switching easier. Major impact.

The stench of Bernstein, Leary and Rodewald just made me not want to hear it anymore.

No doubt one of those ex Bears gets the gig in hopes of saving the station. I just hope whomever that Bear is they ask for a short term deal so they can redo the deal

I would be kind of shocked if that happened too, but I could see a situation where they work out a deal that the morning after Bears games, Brandmeier is off and you have Bears coverage in the morning... I'm sure that would work with Brandmeier not wanting to work a full schedule, and presumably help with ratings as long as you can get Kap and Haugh to establish that they would be on the next morning in Brandmeier's slot. That also allows you to plug in some "new talent tryout" sessions in the normal Kap/Haugh spots unless you want them to pull a double shift.

Johnny B wanting time off? Yeah he would totally agree to that. I could see that happening. He never did rehab like Mac but that guy will take his time off without question. It wouldn't be bad at all honestly. Johnny is a pretty legendary talent IMHO. Not Stern legendary but in a fantastic Chicago market in its prime I always found him the best. Your WGN legends respected, etc... On WLUP he was always my favorite even though I loved Gary and Steve in the early days, Kevin also. You can't win was great as was Jim shorts. Blah blah blah johnny was the best and well past his prime him and Buzz still put on a topical fun show that is well prepped everyday. Hector in what the third and fourth version of the show has played it well. Johnny is a goat to me because he would rather sit it out than mail it in.

Maybe nowadays this doesn't mean much in context but this is the best show on the score.
