Here are the top 10 things overheard at yesterday's Manniversary:
(submitted as an email to the show)

"Can you keep this group under control?" ---Balmoral Park Manager to Adam Delevitt following the largest of the Jurko outburts.

"No, no. I'm fine to go on the air". --- Michael Sheehan assuring everyone that he wasn't too wasted to go on air.

"Yes. That's Bong water Chad". ---Mac, in response to an inquiry regarding a long haired, tattooed, lip-pierced listener on the main floor.

"Man, if I ever pictured what Bong water Chad looked like, it would be like THAT guy", Doug from Evergreen Park

"One day you're I Pod will be listening to you." Bong water Chad sharing his fear of emerging technology.

"With the recent elements, we're trying to get rid of some nasty soft spots." Balmoral Golf Course Manager.
"So am I. --- Harry.

"I'd pick another horse". --- Betting clerk advising me that I've selected the horse that lugged Jurko around the track.

"How can a Jewish guy lose by nose?" ---Harry to Mac

"@#&!@#$#---- Jurko when Horse 2 was disqualified from Race 3.

"This is a men's only event, but we normally love the testiclely challenged". ----Harry on the radio.

. . . and seen at the event:

"Welcome to the Mac, Jurko & Harry's Manniversary
Listeners welcome from 1:00 - 1:15"

----Sign outside of Balmoral Woods Country Club

immediately following this:

"With the recent elements, we're trying to get rid of some nasty soft spots." Balmoral Golf Course Manager.

"So am I. --- Harry.

2 seconds later Woodridge Ryan chimed in loud enough for everyone to hear (in nasally Harry voice)

"NYAHH..."

laughter ensues.

this has to be asked.
How the hell does a team with a guy who hits the ball this far score a +3 in a 4 man scramble???

NSJ is giving me a little too much credit. My best drive of the day I think was 300-310 on a 320 yd par 4. It was one of our 2 birdies. I was driving the ball pretty well.

Unfortunately, our short game was lacking as we ended up E on the par 5s which is death in a scramble.

This was a scramble? I thought it was best ball, but a scramble.
Methinks we have a new board low here fellas. I'll never wear my 1000 post club T-shirt for fear of being associated with such pathetic golfing of balls.

NSJ, I could understand +4 or +5 if it was a two best ball game. But in a scramble? That saddens me, very much. I expected more. Especially with all the pregame talk of people shooting in the 80's and 90's. I think I even read some nonsense about 70's from some joker. You were the only honest one, you admitted beforehand that you suck.
At least a good time was had by all.

i would have shot a 115 yesterday if not worse. i think i hit 4 balls into the drink and one into the creek. got that one back though...
so, there's +10.
:?

anyway.
it was fun. it was the first 77 I had ever been a part of on a golf course. so...meh.
:P

Funny. That's why I dropped WSCR after listening for more than 10 years.

I apologize for bringing this shame upon you Reason and forcing you to wait until the Fall for the brilliance of Ron Zook to bring back your pride and self-esteem.

My performance was distgusting at best. At least only three people saw it.

Free beer, improptu real estate game, and lived to tell the tale.

Making money at the track always picks up the spirit, and more free beer.
