I was pretty damn close, huh? For my next prediction, it pains me to say the Sox will take two of three this weekend against my beloved Cubs .

I signed it. I'm a Sox fan, but I'd take Santo over Singleton DJ any day of the week. Santo is obviously the tallest dwarf there.

Plus he gets so upset when the Cubs inevitably lose.

There is that, but it's also the raw joy and pulling for the team that also endears him to me. I get pissed when the Cubs lose. It somehow is comforting to know I'm not the only one.

That's why I prefer to keep Santo in the booth too. That way I know there's at least one Cub employee that really cares if the team win or loses. It may not mean much and it may set the bar pretty low, but there's not much "knowledgeable" announcers are telling me I don't already know anyway.
