I was coming to this thread to give you kudos, Steve.
If what you just posted is true, then good for Carmen for changing the game around. It was a fun segment and ended up going almost to the last question. If they used your obscure clues, they probably would have answered 2 or 3 questions tops.
So, good idea for the theme of the game, bad execution. I guess pretty much like most of your contributions to sports radio.
I had both obscure clues designed to throw them off as well as more obvious ones. For Ted Hendricks for example they began with the the fact he was born in Guatamala City, Guatamala. but they also included that he was 6 foot 7, 220 pounds during his playing career and was inducted into the Hall of fame in 2011 and the teams he won Super Bowls with. The clues began with interesting, perhaps little known facts, then got to the better known facts that would make identification easier. The only changes Carmen made were to add Joe Montana and make it about guys who won multiple Super Bowls rather than won Super Bowls with at least 2 teams. All the research/clues used and players chosen were mine other than Montana. You came to the thread to give Kudos but don't do it the day of the contest, but the middle of the following day? ........Who you crappin? You're not crappin me,..no,no....
