Great show today from Bears Camp.

Interviews with Ron Turner, Tommie Harris and a surprise phone call from Keith Van Horne, as Mac broke down the Dave Wannstedt era of Bears lore.

Tomorrow, stay tuned for a breakdown of the Abe Gibron era (with a phone call from Bobby Douglass and Melody Rogers) and the Jim Dooley era (with a phone call from Ronnie Bull).

Another story flying under the radar: Brad Briggs broke down and finally ate himself.

He's nowhere to be found, seen, heard from or read.

He just had a baby boy

It's about time he had that thing. He's been carrying it around for a lot longer than nine months though .

Slap-nugget,

The Robin Earl - Lake Forest Oasis story is a classic moment in Chicago Sports Radio lore. Good knowledge by you. I remember Boers giggling every time he brought it up.

A great time that day on our way up to Milwaukee to enjoy a Brewers game sponsered by "The Heavy Fuel Crew" with some of the ALL-Star callers of the early 'Score' days ,Cheese Head Scott , Raffie from Berwyn , Shaft and about 30 other folks and 25 cases of Hamms beer who happened to be the sponsor that day. Needless to say , we had the bus driver stop at a liquor store on the way up and get some real booze but it was a blast.

So, Boers tells us we have to pick up Robin Earl at the Lake Forrest oasis because Bob Avillini was having car trouble and left his keys at some bar. The rest is history ..
