Here's a suggestion MJH:

But it starts with a question:

It it a rule that things must go on the 20 minute cycle? Are you bound to a sponsor to hit the mark of a commercial time.(I hear Gooses voice right now "your audience changes every 20 mins").

My suggestion would be to have a 25 minute cycle or flexibilty to let a good segment breathe. I have a 55-75 minute commute, and feel that the brevity of the conversation at times leads to cutting off for the sake of the clock. Sort of a rushing to get it done regardless of the quality of the way things are going. Mr. Dahl has always endeared me because if a segment is going well, it can bleed way past the normal stop times. Sort of a gift for the listener. Make it up on the back end with the ads, but if my original question is locked then the point is moot.

Also - please keep Monday Night John. Comedy is difficult to come by, and there will be duds occasionally, but the payoff when it is good is worth it.

.500 isn't bad. The time suggestion might work. MN John = awful

They are kind of locked into the time cycle they are on, because of the national SportsCenter updates.

Let this be the last time we ever discuss their "cycles"
