For anyone who did not hear it when I was on the rario with MJH, I suggested a new name for the recap show that is running from 6-7pm. "Last Call at the Afternoon Saloon" What do you think?? Also thought of one for Silverman and Waddle, but I doubt they would approve the name "Silver Wad" ......sounds too much like a device women might choose over Silvy...

I heard your call about "Last Call" I like the name. I'm only so/so on the 1 hr recap idea.

The one positive, is that it puts more pressure on the producers to get quality guests for interviews-so that they will have needed material for the 6-7 slot. Of course, then again, they did just get D. Lee for an interview....

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

They can just play the Tony Romo interview a few times if they need some filler.

Yup. The Last Call is the name Laurence Holmes most likely chose when he and Dan Zampillo originally were doing that show... before it went to Laurence and Drinky, before it became just Drinky.

I'm sure L Holmes watches the Carson Daily Last Call show and thought, "ohhh! I can be just like Carson and have a bunch of great guest by having my good friends.... Chicago Bears players on!" (followed by Urkel laugh and two snorts)

Mac gave it a name. Air Check. He said he listened to this hour in the car on the way home to hear how the boys sounded. I'm glad to know somebody is listening to this exciting hour of rerun radio.

I'd call it the 6-7 hour simple as that. Instead of these dumb names most have for shows.

You mean, like, "The Show"?. Just call the thing "Finji Isle" and be done with it. He'll eventually be more of a original content host, and less of a repeat hour, as they slowly move The Show down an hour. How long will it take? Maybe by next ratings period (I predict!)
