i thought he had total control over his show written in his contract, so then mitch couldnt really do anything but fire him if he wanted cotrol back.

Bingo, Jake. That contract may have a lot more to do with the Score's inability to fix the North show than Beardown's suggestion that Mitch isn't upset about North's poor performance.

Based on what I have been told, Mitch is the type to try real hard to be buddies with everyone, for sure the ones who have daily shows. That is where it gets itchy, you cant be a boss and friends with the people who work for you, as you know coast..lol.



That goes back to my previous post, yea, he has total creative control and even though the show has gone in the tank years ago, I believe he doesnt want to give that up. Like I said, if he re-ups with the score, I think they will allow him to swing his own deals as far as sponsers goes, but he is going to have to give up running his own show, in my opinon.

But isn't that what the general public wants- for him to quit running his own show? Who cares about sponsors?

Mike cares very much about them. They matter to the point were mike can say, if I go, they go, I just thats a risk for anyone to take.

After a certain point in time, you have to look at your sales team and wonder why they can't bring in sponsors on their own. Time for them to sink or swim. And maybe take on some more national media buys...

There's a certain lossage to be seen, but damn, 670's still a wide-reaching frequency.

Mike cares about them but as a listener I don't care. I don't have a house so you can promote the SunSetter all you want but Harry's discount won't help because I am not buying. I also don't have athletes foot so Mike and Mike's plugs for Lamisil are not going to work. And I an MOT donating my car to anyone....
