as boring as the MJH show. Why is that?

Mac is on his way to becoming the next Mike North.

Maybe the show needs some new life to it. Getting a former Bear seems to be popular these days, so how about the "Jimmy-Mac, Jurco and Harry Show" or "Mac, Jurco and Gary (Fencik)" or "Mac, Jiggs and Harry"? The possibilities are endless.

Yep. I'm quite sure the presence of more '85 Bears is just what we need.

As for "becoming North," first I'd have to have a colossal drop in the ratings. Then I would complain about the station not putting the show on billboards and suggest the ratings are flawed. Then, I would book Fritzy for a night on the town segment once a week. I then would purchase several "million dollar properties around the country." I wouldn't let Jurk and Harry ask questions in an interview. I'd make ethnic slurs. It also would be incumbent on me to promote Tom Dreesen's celebrity golf outing, start playing 16" softball, refuse to listen to critics in forums like this one, play Rat Pack music, buy a dog and talk about it all the time, alienate the rest of the airstaff, tell people how much I appreciated Dan Jiggetts, hire SpaceBall as my representative, wear black t-shirts to create the illusion I'm younger, insult Ozzie Guillen, do my show with my wife from Vegas, never go to spring training or games during the regular season, fracture my relationship with A.J. Pierzynski, have Harry produce a segment called "The Bookie Rabbi," never use the internet, and lie, lie, lie.

Have I missed anything? Let me know because I want to be JUST LIKE NORTH.

Yeah and I don't think Mac wants any beejers from the producers.

You forgot hiring a waitress, making her your executive producer and giving her airtime so you can sexually harass her but at the same time say that she's like a daughter to you. I'm not saying, I 'm just saying. Plus you'd have to be nominated for Douchebag of the week every week. Other than that I think you covered it Mac.

Um I think you forgot about bitching about Teddy G and letting your hatred for him control your show for 2 weeks, and than say your not gonna talk about it.

I completely forgot, you have to have a talk show on a sports radio station but don't talk sports because you don't want to be pigeon-holed. Be undeniably Chicago but don't live in Chicago.
Oh and one more thing, and this one's a tough one. You'll have to completely butcher the English language on a daily basis.

Excellent ideas, I see major ratings successes in your future Mac!!! Also don't forget to threaten your listeners with lawsuits after making racial comments they called you out on. Also don't forget to hire an annoying tranny update girl who wears clown makeup.

You have missed something!! You walk away from $850,000 and then be asked to come on to a former SCORES employee's #1 rated show on ESPN and act like a classless dick.

There is the complete package.

Mac - While I agree with your pointed comments, they do seem a little harsh given that you'd seemingly become a North supporter over the last year or so. Did your interview with Pappy sour the relationship?

You know, I think there might be a bit of a parallel between Jen Jen and Harry in the respect that she was about as qualified to have her position has Harry is to have his.

I thought an anvil fell on your head one day leaving the homestead.

The posts of Mac "To Be Like North" and Irish Boy's "North's Quote Post" have got to be the two funniest posts I have seen on this board in ages. Kudos to both.

Irish Boy is right on the money.

Mac, you are so easy to bait. Your arrogance is beyond the limits of normalacy.
It makes it fun to bait a pompous fool like you. apparently, you have forgotten about your defense of North and the stupid invitation you gave him. Get over yourself, windbag. You are the least known "sports guy" in town, which is perfectly understandable. Brag all you wish about your 5.5 share, that still leaves 94.5% of your target audience listening to other things. Your overall number is as abysmal as Harry's attempts at comedy. Face it, you're basically a small time player in a niche market. Even Bristol thinks you are a lightweight show.

You are a sorry person to have defended North and now to turn and rip him. Pathetic.

Next thing you know Coast is going to ask for a paid trip to Vegas during the college hoops tourney to do his pick segments.

North never paid a dime for my trips to Vegas, if that's what you're suggesting. The books pay me when the games are over. That's enough for me. :D
