Grid, even though most everybody was drinking the 5 dollar special, with no connections they add up quick. I am actually surprised it wasn't more....

I just read that Griese's helmet 'coach to QB' reception went dead on that last drive and he had to call his own plays - with no timeouts.

No wonder why the Bears won!

Ron Turner's predictable drivel aka (his playcalling) were taken out of the mix.

On a related sidenote, I had heard that the Bears have NEVER won in Philly. FALSE! They haven't won their since 1987:

1933 — Tie, 3-3 (BK)
1935 — Bears, 39-0 (BK)
1936 — Bears, 17-0 (PH) ???
Bears, 28-7 (PH) ???
1938 — Bears, 28-6 (PH) ???
1939 — Bears, 27-14 (W)
1941 — Bears, 49-14 (SH)
1942 — Bears, 45-14 (W)
1943 — Bears, 48-21 (W)
1944 — Bears, 28-7 (SH)
1946 — Bears, 21-14 (W)
1947 — Bears, 40-7 (W)
1948 — Eagles, 12-7 (SH)
1949 — Bears, 38-21 (W)
1955 — Bears, 17-10 (W)

No Shit?

They should leave the headset off the whole game.

That would have brought a lot of activity to the "Most regrettable sexual experience" thread.

I was actually trying to get Hawkeye to talk to her, but he was convinced that two blonds at the bar were checking us out.

Everybody who saw Olin Kreutz's wayward snap knows there's only ONE person to thank for today's Bears victory:

Good times had by everyone. A shame I have to get up for a new job tomorrow, I could have gone for getting loaded (again).

The Spaniard was impressed that we weren't all pantsless internet cretins.

Great false start penalty called by Hochuli. Maybe Kruetz isn't that great. I'd also like to give a game ball to the non working headset.

It was a divine intervention by Coach Ditka who emitted the energy that shut down the radio communications between Griese's helmet and the Bear coaching staff. Instead Griese heard voices in his head which in fact was the Cohtch telling him what to call...

good to see everyone out there today, it was GOOD TIMES. great to meet kid cairo, and westmont mike for the first time.

and on a side note, had the pleasure of meeting Chus and Ugie Saturday night at the Ween concert, along with hangin with Turkish Silver AKA Stinkfinger the Crow. good seeing you again today, and the Spaniard.

glad everyone made it home okay

Oh! And now we have an official radio AD. i'm going to run it by the programming manager at AM1000. We'll make it happen.

Alright, I've reached that point in the night where you wake up in a haze of still-drunken-pounding-headache-but-have-to-get-up-and-pee-really-badly land. I think by the end of the game I turned into that slurring moron guy who can't complete a sentence. Oh well, sorry to anyone who was around me for that one. Even though my head is killing me I remember it being a really good time. Wings were great too. And Kid, those blondes were checking us out but it was a good thing I didn't try to do anything about it. It would have been highly embarrassing for me and great entertainment for everyone else watching me stammer and stutter over there. Stink, it was good to meet the cute Spaniard. Nice work on that one. Okay back to water and asprin to kill this headache and get my ass back to sleep...Pictures will be posted tomorrow.
