They'll trade the ND pretty boy.

When a player is traded, his whole cap number hits that year. I doubt Cleveland can afford a hit like that. And without ever seeing the guy play. Quinn is going nowhere. Nothing wrong with 2 QBs that can play.

I'm a huge draft geek, and when you look at which teams actually need a young QB to build their franchise around, it's not too many teams:

Miami just took a guy in the 2nd round last year
Atlanta
Chicago
Minny
Tampa
Houston??? I dunno, they paid a bundle to get Schaub
Seattle ??? Maybe but I doubt it
Jacksonville ??? Probably
Baltimore??? Probably, but they just gave Boller a contract extension

I hope that one of these teams, especially if they draft before the Bears, would take a chance on Rex and not draft a QB in round one. BTW I don't see Seattle or Houston going QB early in the draft, if at all.

Me either on Seattle or Houston, that's why I have the question mark after them.

I just want to know how many will 'probably' be taken prior to the Bears 2nd round pick.

First round QBs are no guarantee of success either. The Bears have had their share of clunkers recently: Mirer (via trade), McNown and Grossman didn't pan out very well whatsoever.

DA is 24 6'6" and is the main reason Cleveland who won 4 games all last year have won 4 already this year.

Derek Anderson in 7 games (6 started)

95.5 QB rating
17 TDs
8 Ints

Averaged out for the season
3938 yards
95.5 QB rating

Extrapolate this guy's numbers from his first 7 games in 2006 and he'd be better than Anderson.

13TDs and 7INTs and = about 30TDs and 16 INTs

TRADE FOR THAT GUY!!! SIGN THAT GUY!!!
