When a player is traded, his whole cap number hits that year. I doubt Cleveland can afford a hit like that. And without ever seeing the guy play. Quinn is going nowhere. Nothing wrong with 2 QBs that can play.

I hope that one of these teams, especially if they draft before the Bears, would take a chance on Rex and not draft a QB in round one. BTW I don't see Seattle or Houston going QB early in the draft, if at all.

First round QBs are no guarantee of success either. The Bears have had their share of clunkers recently: Mirer (via trade), McNown and Grossman didn't pan out very well whatsoever.
