Then Zep's fugly manager Peter Grant changed the spelling to "led" in order to avoid mispronunciation.

Grid wins it. It was Peter Grant.

By the way Grid, I died laughing when I saw that picture. Match Game was my favorite show on the Game network. used to watch it in college all the time. Charles Reilly was my favorite. I'm thinking about using that pic and putting it on a t-shirt and wearing it to the next remote.

Could I get you to wear a t-shirt with the class from Saved by The Bell: The College Years with the title "My Last Job"

Match Game was the most politically UNcorrect show back in the day. ...and the fact that this douchebag was on there makes me like it more:

Image

Although I did get quite a laugh when they asked one of the wives on the Newlywed Game "What is your husband's inseam?"

His eyes almost fell out of his head when he came back on the set and she flipped that card and it said "Five Inches"

Why do Bears fans continue to assert that Grossman led the Bears to the Superbowl? He did nothing of the sort. At best, he was the monkey driving the limo, although I'd say it's more accurate to call him the corpse riding in the trunk.

I agree TM, that it's unfair to say that he led the team to the Super Bowl. That's like saying that Urlacher led them or Thomas Jones did that. It was a combined effort to get the Bears to the Super Bowl.
BTW, I never said that Rex was the only reason that the Bears made the Super Bowl.

BTW, part II, why did we get off the original subject of this post?
The thing that bothers me about this situation is that Mac has been critical of Grossman for a while, and then he "decides" to report this. Was he trying to inform his callers or was he just trying to take another shot at Rex?
