just my fucking no luck to have my Professional Engineers exam today.
I don't have good luck or bad luck...just no-luck. and here's another glaring example.


I was off the board early yesterday, before my final studying surge yesterday late-afternoon. completely missed Mac's post. so, i get in the Exploder around 5:30 this afternoon to head home after taking two 4 hour exams and completely dumping my brain of all things civil engineering.
feeling pretty good about myself...felt I did pretty damn well on attempt #4 to pass this fucking 2 year nightmare of having to spend time studying...i'm 31. i don't study anymore.

anyway.
yeah. had no idea.
this contest was tailor made for this 5+ year P1.

awesome.
i'll be drinking Tyskie until I throw up tonight.

well, after being pissed off about my missed opportunity, I thought about this for a while and this is my submission. It's a little more serious than others, sprinkled with a little funny.

jurko and harry have a tiff while in boston when a hat gets flipped off of one of their impressive heads. the discussion (obviously heard during the show) continues to resurface during the week and is very uncomfortable radio. Hearing two grown men bickering and name calling each other on a sports radio show?? First and only time I punched the button on these guys. a low moment for me.

Jurko's daily antagonism of Harry and Mac's failure to drive the show down the road when this used to happen. Jurko's "shots" tended to come off as harsh and condescending during this period . The ribbing hasn't stopped, certainly, but now you can tell it's done with love and respect. Jurko compliments Harry much more than he ever did during the first 3 years and it is evident to me that he is now genuine with that praise.

Allowing listener Michael Sheehan to continue to enter parody song contests. (Bulls good, Bulls bad, Sox, etc...) The dude is unbeatable. His songs are too damn funny and crush my creative spirit with their awesomeness.
End the current parody contest now. Save your time and effort fellas, don't even bother. I have officially given up before starting. Michael's Latin-flavored "Andres Nocioni" song is impeccable.

I think this event will be better than last year for a couple reasons.

1.) It sounds...and I say sounds, like a bit more beer may be provided. I could be way off.

2.) The horse races were fun last year, but kind of a flop as there was no VIP tent for much fraternizing.

3.) They handled the travel beautifully last year with two buses, but it was a bit much. Plus there was no beer handed out on the way to the Sox games. I'm not an alcoholic, I swear, but the bus rides really dragged on some of our time.

Mac and I had talked about the tent thing last year and Mac actually thought we were going to have a tent for the horse races. I think we should still go with his idea he had last year and just go fishing for the third event.
