I thought this might have the potential to be an interesting topic. What would your personal sports hell be? Mine almost came true in 2003 when the cubs looked like they were on their way to the world series. Luckily, the sox got their in 2005 and won. Now I can rub it in to my friends instead of vice versa. However, my new sports hell would be a Mike North and Sean Salisbury radio show and me forced to listen to it everyday.

The 1994 Eastern Conference semi-finals. Once Hue Evans called that bullshit foul on Scottie, I knew we were in for it. It sucks because my favorite Bull wasn't able to bring us a ring without Michael. I think had the Bulls escaped that series with the Knicks, they could've beaten Indiana and Houston.

The 1993 ALCS with the Sox & Toronto was pretty brutal too. They had a better overall team but we had a better pitching staff.

Watching the the clock wind down in the 4th quarter of Super Bowl XLI. Slowly coming to the relization that a comeback was impossible for the beloved Monsters of the Midway. (single tear... quickly brushed away.)

My sports hell would probably involve being trapped in an elevator with Chris Berman, Stu Scott, and Seannycakes.

My "in person" sports hell was being out at the bar for Game 7 of the Mets Cards NLCS last year, having it on every TV and knowing one of those POS teams were going to the World Series.

Seeing Grossman throw those two picks and knowing that the Bears were not going to pull it off.

As a Cub fan, I am living my personal sports hell. Red Sox, White Sox and Cardinals winning the last few World Series? Couldn't have been scripted any worse. The Bears had opened the door to lead me out of Hades, but bad game plans and bad quarterbacking slammed the door in front of me.
