Silent Hill - The struggles of young, once successful pitchers Kerry Wood and Mark Prior who keep working towards a come back, but always come up short to return to the hill. Ladies will love the towel scenes.

Clerks II - In this comedy, newly unemployed strangers Dusty Baker and Trent Yawney interview and get a managerial jobs at Blockbuster on Division in Chicago. Hilarity ensues as employees complain about working day shifts after night shifts, never give 100%, and the two are constantly trying to cover their asses when on the phone with corporate.

Miami Vice - The story of a football team who's vice was their Quarterback and it has a very anti-climactic ending for our heroes.

Failure to Launch - The story of the 2006 Chicago Cubs

The Queen - The Autobiographical story of John Amaechi

Pan's Labyrinth - The highs and lows of one struggling Scott Podsednik

Ya, but the movie was supposed to be made in 2006 (or at least 2005)

I knew that GroundRound, but it fits them to a tee.
Besides, I haven't seen any movies made in 2005 or 2006, so sue me.

Don't get pissy 'butt steak'.

The damned year of the movies eligible are right in the thread title. And I fail to see how the name "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" fits. Who's 'good'? Who's 'bad'? Who's 'ugly'? It's too debatable - at times they're a blend of all three. "The Three Stooges" is more reasonable. So just because you've suggested a movie with three descriptions doesn't necessarily make it a 'good' suggestion.

And I don't believe for one second you don't read a newspaper, or see TV commercials where the movies of today are advertised.

Chomp on that grizzle.

Little Children
The story of two morning Chicago sports talk radio hosts who whine like 8 year olds about all matters of sports, often play the school yard bullies with those who disagree with them, and talk about their romantic pursuits of women half their ages.

Beef, I apologeye that I besmirched the integrity of a thread at CSFMB, especially in your precious MJH forum. I know that never happens around here. I should have known better.

Yes, I do read newspapers and watch a little TV. But, I treat movies advertisements the same way I have treated your posts up to this point, I ignore them. This is a practice I will adhere to in the future.

Oh and what the hell is grizzle? The word is gristle, Meathead.
