Although I doubt I could read his writing style....I still need an update on progress.

I find mac's writing to be purposely flowery, especially those columns he is doing for NWI times. If he would use normal words, the column would be less than half a page!

" He's got a little Jim DeRevolting in him .."

So does Linda S.

(I don't even know what that means)

Perhaps this week I will write a mono-syllabic column so TommyV can comprehend it. My bad.... so he gets it.

I'm sure the rest of your hillbilly audience will be made happy by this move as well.

I don't know...

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...

...worked pretty well for that guy. But, I guess he went poly-syllabic on people after that. So, I see your point.

MJH -> mono-Slavic = Jurko

I could see it now...Poor Dan McNEIL driving thru the village of Woodridge after his book being released and Mac wrecks his truck and the next thing he knows he's in Woodridge Ryans guest room having his ankles broken by a sledgehammer weilding Ryan .. All the time Ryan yelling "Your a Dirty birdie" at poor Mac.

Oh please.
I cant believe this pathetic POS thread made it to the air.

After a tad more thinking after hearing myself slandered on the air, I came to this conclusion.

1 - the language is perhaps not too sophisticated
2 - Mac writes EXACTLY the way he speaks
3 - perhaps I am tired of trying to read what I normally listen to.

I dont want to be seen as kissing ass. I am not a hillbilly, and personally I should like to think of my vocabulary as quite expansive.

I am not a big fan of mono-syllabic watchamacallit. I had that as kid and was sick as a dawg. Me and my hillbilly friends would appriciate a pop-up version of yur book. GIT-R-DUN!

I understand the Jurk-tinionary is about 25% completed.

The problem is Niko and Jake keep stealing Jurko's jumbo Crayolas.

As I've said before.

I'll wait until it comes out as a book on tape, with Jurko doing the reading or I'll consider a Shatner reading as well.

I agree Mac could have shortened is last article. It was too wordy. The Highland readers don't need that. It should have been as simple as this for the Hoosiers.

Hello. Me Mac. Me on vacation in Florida with wife. Me go fishing. Me catch fish. Me eat fish. Me go to beach. Me drink beer. Me bang wife. Me wake up tomorrow and do it all again. Me be back from vacation next week. The End.
