Ok, so they are going to have Larrivee on during the 341 segment. Hey Coast, if you're out there, what are the chances that Harry brings up Larrivee leaving the Bears for the Pack? |

I would have said it was about 3-1. Harry doesn't mention it EVERY time, but almost. |

Yeah. Damn them for not being able to play over 50,000 hysterical fans with 100 watt amps. |

Harry needs to let go of the urban myth that the Cub were screwed out of a home game in the '84 NLCS. MLB Senior VP Katie Feeny has told me in 4 different calendar years that the Cub did not lose a home game in the '84 NLCS, but would have lost one in the World Series...of course they never got there. What most people don't realize, Harry, is that the 5 game LC's from '69-'84 were a 2-3 format opening in alternating years...east-west-east-west...etc. The "home field advantage" had absolutely nothing to do with record. A quick check of the baseball encyclopedia can confirm this but Harry would never let facts get in the way of his sorry ass fictional tales. |

Harry needs to let go of his fascination that he was a womanizer back in the day (pre-Wendy). No offense to Tiny, but he doesn't exactly seem like a Casanova or Adonis type (neither am I) but I'm always hearing him talk about all these girls he dated in high school and college that were "hot" that he tried getting some from. I know some of his talk is meant to be a joke, but it sure sounds like he had quite an adventurous social life (unless he used to set his standards well below everyone elses). Maybe I take his talk to literally when it's all meant to be a joke. Anyone else have thoughts on this? |
