Have not listened to sports talk all week. Have not looked at the papers. On this sleepless night, I get to check the pulse on these boards and I learn so much. Somebody gimme the Reader's Digest version on Harry's "fall." Also... did Lance Briggs get traded? Have yet another "stirring" interview? And to answer Stu-Gotz' question in the Ask Mac thread... sure I'd work with North. It wouldn't be "Position A" for either of us, but I think I've proven I can pretty much make the best of even the toughest circumstances.

I only heard a portion of the story, but apparently there's not much more to it other than Tiny walking down his driveway, simply falling, and nearly tearing his foot off.

Speaking of falls, have you dried off yet?

Briggs still not traded. Latest rumor that Rosenhaus is floating out there is Briggs and our 31st pick to the Redskins for their 6th pick. Everyone is in consensus not liking this move.

That’s a bit of an exaggeration.

some email about 'new years party planning with rex grossman', ended up winning bulldog.

doug, i kinda thought so too. i liked the 'new years' but the concert email was lame, (outside of micheal vick's song) and i thought my "'how to soak your suit in sweat by sitting around and doing nothing' wth ted phillips" seminar was the best of the bunch.

oh well, ill live.

Frank wins as far as I'm concerned. And at the end of the day, thats all that really matters......

they didn't read my Urlacher one, though...
"How to hook up with sluts that NFL QB's have dumped"

Or my "Weapon care and storage" with Tank Johnson....

wtf was with Carmen? He liked the Rex Grossman one the best and then picks the dude who submitted the songs????
which wasn't even what the contest was about anyway...
WINDSOCK!

Like the time you and your on-air partner got into a slap fight on the air? You're right Mac, you made the absolute best of that situation. You did so well that both of you got more than a little bench time this past summer. Midget's right, Who You Crappin?

Carmen couldn't have been more wrong on this contest. I can't believe he allowed that, but Frank, your was far better anyway. Carmen blew it.

bertram voted too didnt he? i guess that was his idea of revenge for having to put up with mac blasting those doors songs in the office :P

here's all of them i sent in yesterday

Here's what I came up with for Bears convention this year:

Letter writing seminar hosted by Jerry Angelo and Harry Teinowitz

"How to legally steal thousands of dollars from your employer" with Adewaleye Ogunleye

"Run fast and talk faster" with Devin Hester

"Celebrity Hair-do's" with Adrian Peterson

"How to soak your suit with sweat by sitting down and doing nothing" with Ted Phillips

and finally, my favorite of the bunch..

"How to clean the cocktail stains from your clothes, and still make it to work on time" with Kyle Orton

another one i came up with and had my friend send in, which i thought was good but didnt make it on air either.

"Reporterless Press Conference"-- Jerry Angelo walks you through the in's and out's of asking yourself questions from everything on weather to draft picks, then providing rock solid answers.

exactly! he did that to me once too, actually, during a run and shoot a long time ago. even the producer was giving me the prize, and then carmen brings up something at the end like "but i really liked so-and-so's" and then he claimed i had won stuff before...which was incorrect. and then everyone went and voted for the other guy...who had hung up. then he called back to get his jersey.

you don't want carmen to have to be your swing vote.

This is true. I remember when I won the Manniversary everyone was voting for my Man Laws and then Carmen came in and was really pushing for soneone else who only had one decent one. Maybe he tries for regulars to not get prizes to expand their loyal listening audience? I dont know

While you've been out, D. Mac, the White Stocking have lost 7 Spring Training games in a row.

J. Danks, was named as the White Stocking 5th starter. He sounds like he's a little light in the loafers.

I guess getting "Back to the Grind" includes adding a homosexual starting pitcher to the rotation.

..... No wonder F. Constanza likes the White Stocking.

agreed....
if there's a clear cut winner, then there should be a unanimous vote.

who cares that Bob from Wichita listening online didn't win and that a "regular" does. Bob needs to email a lot better....

Frank, I heard this and Carmen and Silvy both criticized you for writing that your best effort was the last one on your list. They said that people need to put their best effort first, not save it for last. After they criticized you like that, I knew there was no way you were going to win. But you were in the final five. Along with Scott.

Mac,

The powers that be at the station actually allowed a J. Hood to "roar" on the topic of "pro wrestling" during the Mike & Mike Show the other day. He was actually serious on the subject, unlike a Coppock. My jaw literally dropped when I heard it. Your station has officially become a joke.
