Post subject:  Question about Jurko

If he wasnt a Ex- NFL player, would he have a job in radio?

Are you implying that former athletes get preferential treatment in sports radio/tv?
I'm shocked by this. I mean I thought Darrin Jackson, Joe Carter, Isiah Thomas, and Eric Dickerson all got jobs in the field based on their fine announcing ability.

they mesh so well together.

Post subject:

Yeah. But Jurko wouldn't be Mac's friend if he never played in the NFL. Their paths would have never crossed.

I am just asking a question. Jurko seems like a good guy, I was just curious what others thought.

He might be, but it wouldn't be in this market.

Most likely he'd be coaching a high school D-Line and teaching Freshman English in the south suburbs or NWI.
