Sorry to post here and late but I have 4 great seats for the Sox game tommorow with a parking pass free of charge I can not use. There is only 1 hitch , you have to pick them up in Plainfield . Shoot me private message and it's first come first serve so who ever wants them they are yours. |

Funny , Bears fans will come out 65,000 strong and in driving snow storms and below zero temps but baseball fans are a bit more fickle and wait for sunny skies and the 80's to venture out . |

I was amazed how many people went to that game. I know the 33 + was tix sold, but the upper tank looked pretty full. |

yeah, there's only 8-10 meaningful home games a year for the bears. and that sort of weather is expected during football season. if i had tickets to a sox game with Sshit weather, id go for sure...but i wouldnt have been a walkup on a day like today. ironically enough, when i played little league and in high school, i really enjoyed playing in the cold. |

The Sox have a policy for season ticket holders that they give you 3 games during the season to turn in unused game tickets and they will give back 3 games in return but of course they are games against KC, Tampa and Texas and the seats are in the upper tank . Better than nothing I guess but moving games in April to warmer cities would make sense . This is the 4th year in where I have eaten tickets the first week of the season due to weather. |

Or due the dumbass thing Bud Selig just did. Why would you move a series between Cleveland and Seattle to the dome in Milwaukee? Does this make any sense? I know the weather is bad but if anything you swap cities and not move the venue to an out of town market into Bud Seligs ballpark . |

Sock, they didn't swap cities because the Angels have to go to New York the day the series ends to start a series the next day with the Pinstripes; this was supposedly the easiest way to appease everyone. Convenient how Selig's daughter is the one who wins, with free revenue coming in to her stadium, no? |

i wonder if Bob Uecker will make an appearance as Harry Doyle in the tribe's broadcast booth if anything, this helps the sox later in the year...cuz they're gonna have 4 games to make up against seattle, which could mean 2 or 3 double headers, and losing an off day or 2 edit- lets see if harry steals this in the first segment or 2 of the show! (which im pretty sure he's done before with things paul and doug have posted) |

By the way, someone cue up the John Rooney: "My mistake." Wendy Selig-Prieb no longer has a verifiable interest in the team. I think she's head of the Brewer's Board of Directors, but I can't find anything to confirm it. I know she is no longer in a front-line official position. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming: "That's why he's the best color man in baseball, folks." |
