Maybe the suggested 1000 post minimum is a bit much. What is equitable? 500 posts? 200 posts? Tell me soon and I'll re-think it and post a "decision" before I begin my commute. - Mac |

I'm fine with 1000, but I'm biased. 500 should be fine, IMO |

keep at 1,000 (ESPN 1000) But it'd be damn funny that North Shore J stayed up ALL night to get to 1,000. I think you were trying to get people that have been around for awhile and 1000 is a good #. |

I'm thinking of a number...... say 360'ish. Option: how about "x" number or "y" length of time as a board member?? |

If its 500 here are mine: 1. That time when Mac lost his temper and was grumpy. 2. That time when Harry made a lame joke that nobody thought was funny. 3. That time that Harry made an outrageously dumb statement, made up a dumb trivia game, or plugged a product because he get freebies . 4.That time when Jurko described his poop and smells it emitted. 5. That time when Jurko was really quiet and only spoke to repeat something Mac or Harry said. Honorable mention - The plugging of that current 9-12 show. Bibliography: Spaulding's post.[/quote] |

Mac- I stayed up all night getting to 1,000. I'm going with Killer V's suggestion - my 1000th post will be my entry. Please don't tell me my sleepless night is in vain. The 1K limit gives you the top 33 posters. STICK TO YOUR GUNS!!! |

Quote: 1000 is fine. North Shore J would be pissed if he/she stayed up until 6am trying to get to 1000 and then you change it to a lower number. I also believe he should get special consideration for his/her determination to be included in the competition. Posting 600 times in less than 12 hours is the sign of a true fan.
You're a good man, Nas. . . and I'm a "He". |

The sad thing in all of this is that I remember better low lights from Mac's days with Boers than I do with the other 2 boobs. Low lights during Mac's heavy fuel crew days. 1. Mac calling out Erik Kramer for telling the Bears fans that the Packers game was just that "Another game" . Hey , Easy PAL! 2. The day they ambushed the great Billy Packer and Terry and Mac screamed "Your the master of the obvisous Billy" . 3. Mac being unprofessional , telling Cory Pavin to go FUCK Himself because Cory stiffed him for an interview at Cog Hill. 4. Mac throwing tapes and knocking over a cart in studio as the board and callers were not up to par. 5. The pretending of the support of Dave Wannstedt and Wannies ARMY. The worst segment of all time in radio.I knew it was a joke but the 250,000 dopes who listened didn't. Bring back Boers !!!! |

Perhaps one hundred? In all seriousness, leave it at 1,000. It's your party, so what the hell. Besides, I'm in awe of the punditry whipped up by this august group. Before anyone feels the urge to cybernetically kick my ass, let me save you the skin cells on the keyboard. No. I don't have a top five and certainly nothing better than that which has been already offered. I'm just being a smartass. Frankly, OakBrookJoe made me laugh the most as he summed up the silliness in five deadpan points. He has my vote. |

I'd say 100 as that's what Bigfan deemed was appropriate to be a active member of this board. The 100 club. Not that I care as I think my soon to be submitted parody will get me a golden ticket. |

It's not my fault Spaulding is a woman and not allowed at the G.O.L.F. (Gentleman Only, Ladies Forbidden) event. |

I believe this translates into: "The current submissions suck, therefore, we should expand the field" |

I'll be able to live with myself if I end up being one of the tallest midgets. I'd just like a day out of my cage at the office to play some golf! |

I'd still be a girl and I don't think the Hockey section could change that. |

Aw hell, by the time of the outing, you will still only be "showing" half as much as Harry. |
