OK, so Killer V might have something coming up unexpectedly that day and can't commit (yes, I know that statement doesn't make sense but I'll let Killer explain if he chooses). In any case, I completely understand and agree with Killer. So, here's the final shot. If the winner of this contest can't go, I'm just going to hire an "escort" and enjoy the day myself. Please participate only if you are certain that you can go next Wednesday, May 2. Give me an answer to each of the following questions regarding tonight's games. Whoever has the most correct answers wins. Eligibility is the same as the other contest (1000+ posts, MJH fan, etc. - see other post). Questions - 1. Name the winner of the Cubs game tonight. 2. Name the winning pitcher of tonight's Cubs game. 3. Name the winner of the White Sox game tonight. 4. Name the winning pitcher of tonight's White Sox game. 5. Name the winner of the Bulls game tonight. 6. Name the high scorer FOR THE BULLS for tonight's Bulls game (for a tie credit will go to either answer). 7. Name 2 White Sox players and 2 Cubs players and you will get a point for each home run they hit in tonight's games. Please post your answers in this thread. You get a point for each correct answer and points for each home run your guy hits. Whoever has the most points wins. No posts after 7:00pm today will be accepted. If you post is edited after 7:00pm it will be disallowed. Ties are broken by whoever has the most posts as of right now. Good luck. |

You can edit it until 7pm - lineups should be in by then. If the edit timestamp is after 7pm then it's disallowed. I'm not too worried about you guys being dishonest but I'm just putting it out there. I might not figure out the winner until tomorrow sometime and I don't want someone changing the answers just to be funny. |

By the way, since no one mentioned it, nice job on the tip of the cap to the Matrix Doc - it didn't go unnoticed |

You know what is weird is that I intentionally name the last thread "Reloaded" with The Matrix in mind - not thinking I would need a third contest. Maybe I'm a "seer". I'm going to submit my own entry even though I'm not eligible - Cubs Hill Royals Musser Bulls Deng Konerko Pierzynski Soriano Barrett |

So a quick explaination. I simply couldn't stomach the thought of being stuck playing golf with a really old, shriveled, & yellow partner. Actually, as WR said, I also did not realize that it's next week. My wife is due to "pop" anytime in the next two weeks. I figured we'd have a baby in the next two weeks and then I'd go lose several boxes of golf balls in three. Oops. So, unless Mac is willing to move the Manniversary to the 16th (How about it, Mac?), I have to settle for the satisfaction that I out-smarted everyone here in the great Doctor's contest (and it doesn't count if you say you knew the answer before me and didn't post it....I'm looking at you, Reason). Good Luck! (And make sure that you can absolutely, positively go next Wednesday before you enter - so the good Doctor doesn't have to come up with a third contest - hint: He's planning a spelling bee) |

I think I'm just going to swear off sex for awhile. This is just ridiculous with all the babies this board has produced in the last 6 months. |

Killer V, I wasn't going to help out any of you dopes. I almost PM'ed it to Ryan, but I thought that would be a little underhanded and I didn't want to ruin the good Dr.'s fun. |

Appreciate the thought Reason. Thinking of going down to the Western/Illinois football game this year. What golf course should I be playing when i go down there? I've done the Blue/Orange thing years ago. |

Ryan, you need to play Stonecreek in Urbana. It is a championship quality course, that is very reasonably priced. I think you can make tee times on the net. So if you are coming down for a game, I would suggest making them as far in advance as you can. You will not be disappointed. |
