I'd first like to send my thanks again to Johnny Vaughn. I've already invited two posters to join me for Wednesday's event. Really looking forward to meeting a Dr. Kenneth Noisewater and North Shore J. I'm havin a tough time right now deciding my fourth invitee, but if my three prospects can't do it, I'll be back to host a Dr. Kenneth Noisewater production of the past.

Thanks for the invite, WR. I plan on making the board proud by drinking 18 beers and running around all afternoon with my pants around my ankles heckling Harry.

A hotel room may not be a bad idea. How are we supposed to get home? I know of a decent place next to the Industrial Strip Club in Hammond . . .

I'm wondering how much a cab ride will be to get back up to the west side. I do have a couple of cracker cousins who live in Beecher and could probably crash there. Or there is always the Skybox in Harvey and the hotel next door. Always a good time there.

What event?

My friend signed up to keep times or something for a track meet. She dragged me along. Best favor I ever did, I met a lot of cute guys that day.

Thanks for the invitation Ryan, I'd be happy to join such board luminaries as yourself, Doug, and the hawk in a day of debauchery.

What the f@#$@ are you guys talking about for Wednesday?

This board is way too freaking cliquish.

If you guys are going to make plans without inviting everyone who might be interested...including lurkers like myself...why don't you just email each other instead of putting it on a thread so that people who don't have 6000 posts don't have to feel bad about not being included in your little party?

You'll get it pastafajool about 980 posts from now

Not following...No one here is excluding anybody from the board in ever meeting up. We also have done things with people that don't post here. I just don't get the comment at all.

I'm not getting it still. I went to this event last year and took "0" posters. This year I am taking board members. Can you elaborate on how this became "clique" like.

Paranoid much? This thread is about how the board was lucky enough to have good member attendance thanks to Mac and crew. A lot of people here spent a ton of time to try to win tickets and others (myself included) were lucky enough to be invited. Nobody else seems to have a problem with it and I even posted a little bit ago about trying to get others on the board a spot for the remote part of the Manniversary.

This isn't 3rd grade where if you bring candy you have to share it with the rest of the class. Complain to Mac that there aren't enough "spots open for everyone". What did you do to try to get a ticket? When did you show up to a remote to meet everyone on the board? Hell, I don't even recognize your screen name and you're bitching about not being offered a sought after ticket from people you've never even spoken to on the INTERNET.
