Well with the ball busting Mac has gotten for being a Cheryl Crow fan I must confess that I bought a "Fergie" cd yesterday and after my wife told Chris (STU) about it , I figured i would just do post it before he makes it more stupid than it is.

I saw Fergies new video with her in her bra and panties and not only dug her but the song 'Big girls don't cry'. . I also like Nelly Furtado as well before that gets posted.

I'm sure you guys have hidden gems like mine so let's hear them .

I can outgay you - I once owned a Dixie Chicks CD (I dug the electric fiddle sound they had on it). It looked really out of place next to Metallica, DMX, and my other CDs.

Thankfully, after I got tired of it, all my CDs were stolen, which has allowed me to rethink my purchases....

Back in my hormone riddled bipolar days, I used to like that song "Mary's Friend"

I dig Norah Jones and Joss Stone. Some Alicia Keyes, too.

I hate to break it to you guys, but all music is inherently g a y, or at least homoerotic. And the more aggressive-sounding the music in question is, the gayer it is because those guys are just trying to conceal the inherently h omosexual nature of their life's work.

Straight Up NSJ.

The gayest CD I owned would be REO's greatest hits.
Actually after Rob Halford came out, it would be the entire Judas Priest library.

I think I have you all beat . How many guys can say they have a 'Peaches and Herb' cd in their car?

Reunited and it feels so good.

I wouldn't consider you gay for having any of those cd's. Theres nothing wrong if the chick has talent. As I stated before, I'm a big Erykah Badu fan. That is.....until Keeping Score informed me I wasn't black...

The first record I ever purchased was The Village People. My grandpa went to the store and helped me pick it out.

Why is this not the least bit surprising?

Did you like to be the Indian or the Construction Worker?

The Indian always gave off a weird vibe. The leather/biker lead singer was the one that drew me to the group.

Is that what he says?
I always thought it was "Cub Fan" :?
Now the song makes no sense at all.

Nelly Furtado? ugh. I can understand the others, but her stuff is just downright bad.

Hidden between AC/DC and Slayer, you'll find plenty of guilty pleasure, burrito music in my CD library... therefore I'm guilty, as well.

For chick music, I still to this day love the Go-Go's and Joan Jett.

And AC/DC and Slayer are distinguishable from guilty pleasure, burrito music how, exactly?

i've lamented this to stink already, but i have an ironic "guilty pleasure" about listening to avril lavigne. i have never bought a CD or anything of hers, but her stuff is so hilarious to me...especially her new cut, "girlfriend". this bubble gum pop will hopefully be forgotten in decades to come...but for some reason it really entertains me.

this is one of my favorite lyrics of hers:

You've got your dumb friends
I know what they say
They tell you I'm difficult
But so are they
But they don't know me
Do they even know you?
All the things you hide from me
All the shit that you do

 brilliant, avril

Hey Hey, You You, I don't like your girlfriend.
Hey Hey, You You, I could be your girlfriend.

That was done from memory, how sad is that?

This song drives me absolutely crazy for the same reason it mesmerizes Zack. The f'in thing is utterly unavoidable. Every day I'm in the gym, regardless of time of day, their satellite radio has it on. If I turn on the FM in the car and flip stations, I'll find it. Anywhere you typically hear music, I hear this damn song.

Time to start finding music in atypical places.

what gym do you go to that has satellite radio? is it one of those snazzy life fitness places? those places are HUGE.

i know what you mean though, every time i go to the gym they have the MiX on, and that song is guaranteed to be on. In fact it's pretty much, here's the set list by the PD:

"Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne, "Waiting on the World to Change", that Shakira song that she's singing to some "hip hop" guy I guess, rapping, and saying "bonita" over again, the new Kelly Clarkson song, that "Girflriend" song by The Killers (NO other Killers song, and I like some of their stuff), and then "Torn". Repeat.
