ABOUT FUCKING TIME JUSTIN CRAIG SPROUTED SOME NUTS!

THE SHOW is now from 9-noon M-F.

Just announced to the five people listening the Silvy and Carm right now.

Good for Silvy and Waddle. I still think Carmen should be with 'em as well...

Congrats guys.

Sorry Seany Cakes, I'm not in the feel good business. Ratings talk, and Seany Cake walks....

Allow me to put my arm around you two knuckleheads and explain a few facts for you:

A) I made the FIRST post on this news.

B) There is no "THE SHOW" forum on these boards.

C) I didn't start 'another thread' besides this one.

Any other questions?

will Grid Jr. and Grid Jr. Jr. be at the draft gathering tomorrow?

No... I don't think they can handle 7 hours of NFL Draft excitement.

Maybe Max could, I certainly know young Zak can't.

Max would be a showcase.
He'd have 30 guys questioning their sports knowledge.

He told me he'd bring his Harry Potter book to read when he's bored.

I think he'd need all of them, the kid reads like crazy.

Does that mean Big will give The Show it's own slot on the board now?

Wow. Just caught this. Yeah Grid, with the Bulls, Sox and Cubs playing nobody heard the announcement.

Who's getting the 7-9 show now. Sean's gone but is Rosie gone too? Is he gonna go to nights or be on the 9-12 show as well.

I posted Sherman's article on the soon to be defunct Rosey-bury message board.

Rosenbloom has been offered the 7-9 gig, and will make a decision by Monday.

Actually, Rosey/Hood wasn't a bad listen today.

Rosey/Hood followed by Carm/JD wouldn't be bad.

You have now officially broken more stories than Larry Holmes has. :D

This is the best news. I think it has been speculated, but . . . "Here's to us"!!!

So, who actually heard the announcement? I've been checking AP and Reuters and can't find a thing.

JD and Hood hate each other according to Mac.

I know this is kind of off the track here,

but is "The Show", one of the more idiotic radio show name titles you've heard in a long time?

I think so

i could be wrong, but on the first night "the show" aired, they were talking about all the ridiculous names that had been suggested to them and/or they came up with, and "the show" was something they settled on... i think. point being, it wasn't the first choice, but better than some of the crap they initially thought of.

I think the following would be an excellent name for 'The Show':

"NOT Salisbury and Rosenbloom"

Chicago's GameNight would be a better suited name for the 7pm slot.

Now that Waddle won't be coddled in a two hour slot, they should just go back to a 7-10p slot or 7-11p slot. No need for two shows at night, unless they wanna do a JD and Hood followed by Carmen solo (Carmen solo is better than Carmen with a partner)

THE SHOW remains from 7-9.

Waddle and Silverman from 9-Noon.

At least that's how the website has been updated. Kudos for them on updating it over the weekend also - I was shocked.

The quicker they could get Seany Cakes bloated face off of the website, the better.

Awesome news. Feel a little bad for Rosey (I know most don't). Finally, I can enjoy a show from nine to noon again. This is crazy. Big Fan, let's start a clean slate for Waddle and Silvy with a section.

I have to say that the Salisbury and Rosenbloom show was the most unorganized show in Chicago radio history. They were never together enough to build any type of chemistry. Sean would be off in Bristol or Steve was off covering poker and it seemed they just did not care about the show.

Chicago is a very tough town and you can't come in here and half-ass it and that's what they both did. Shame on Spaceballs for thinking an out of town guy like Sean can come in here and try and talk Chicago sports but yet not watch Chicago sports and comment on it .

I do enjoy Sean on the ESPN NFL coverage and he does do a good job there but he belongs in an NFL type of atmosphere.

I think the new morning show might be an audition for Waddle to jump up to ESPN national anyway.

Aren't you always ina role auditioning for the next big job? Unless you're a CEO.CFO...and even then maybe its on to a bigger, better company.

I want to audition for Woodridge Ryan's spot on this board after he moves onto the ESPN national radio message boards.
