Did anybody hear Kenny Paine yesterday around the 6PMish hour?

I think the guy is clever, but it doesn't really translate well to radio. Just say what you gotta say and get outta there. He was rambling on and on, and I don't think MJH knew when they could talk, as he kept trailing off and then started talking again.

Can the Kenny Paine/Rosenbloom Show be far behind?

It was a tough listen.

Maybe Kenny was in the Sprint Store.

Touch em all Darkside!

Yeah I was in the car, but had I been by the radio I would have immediately made a thread about it giving my thumbs down.

Mac acknowledged that he is a "strange" interview at the end of the show.

Yeah, that was bad.

Mac laughing off mic as Harry was waiting for a pause to cut off the responses, and Jurko getting scolded were the highlights.
I bet even the Canadian interview coach would have troubles with Kenny.

How does being by a radio make it easy to make a thread?

Sorry....I meant to say had I been by a computer. Good catch. I guess I'm the one who shouldn't be drinking on a work day.

I thought it was Kenny Mayne. Isn't Kenny Payne the new Bear safety.

I would have rather heard Kenny from South Park, would have had a better chance understanding what he said.

sorry dolphin. I knew something looked wrong. I thought I just had the i and y wrong, but I was too lazy to do a search.

Fuck, the 900lbs of manmeat could have been interviewing a WINDOW PANE, a WEATHER VANE, or my ASS PAIN and it would have been more interesting.

Here's the email I sent in that will find it's way into the circular file, as you can't criticize an ESPN employee on an ESPN station:

RIVETING stuff with Kenny Paine or Maine or whatever the hell his name is yesterday...

Hell, you could have been interviewing a WINDOW PANE, a WEATHER VANE, or my HINDSIDE PAIN and it would have been more interesting.

I know.. I know.. I know.. he's got a 'dry sense of humor'... I've heard it all before Harry....

Rerack it for the 6:40 segment, or better yet, rack Harry for suggesting him as a guest.

Later,

Beef Rockmore

Frank Caliando makes me punch the dial. Old, unfunny and forced. DUMP IT!

As to Ms Payne - She's got her own thread

ahh..now here's a good Friday quiz question. I committed a month or so ago that I would buy one spot on the board foursome for the MJH golf outing. I will be unable to play, but I will buy that spot for one of you.

Here is the quiz question. I used to do the North show and one day North he asked me a question. Allison Payne was my answer. If you can guess the question, I will pay your way to the MJH outing as a member of the board foursome. Everybody gets five guesses per day until the answer is given.

One more thing...I will not respond to every incorrect question, but in true Mike North fashion, the question must be exactly right my friends. Close doesn't count.
