I would be surprised actually if he didn't have some actual learning issues. He seems like he is someone who is gifted in one area (spelling) but also requires extreme order or procedure, difficulty in social interaction. I kind of felt a little bad for him watching that. Or maybe he was just having a bad day. Or maybe he is just a jerk. |

Agreed, but that's part of the parents' responsibility (to help with social skills) especially if they are going to home school him. I'm no dr but he displays some signs of Asperger's syndrome. |

Both my boys have Asperger's syndrome. While making a 3 minute diagnosis is impossible...there's alot to be said for suggesting this boy is Aspy. |

I think his speech patterns don't fits Aspergers. they're generally considerably more formal than that. |
