with the Cub rolling into Arlington. just a thought MJH, you guys should assign a listener per cubs pitcher to give up gopher ball #600, and the winner gets whatever giveaways you guys have this week. you could get even more listeners involved by giving them a different inning during the 3 game set, and the inning when sosa hits #600 is another winner-- like you did with the stefani gift certificates this past week (which im still wondering how to collect ) pitching matchups for the series tuesday sean marshall vs robinson tejada wednesday jason marquis vs kameron loe thursday ted lilly vs vincente padilla my guess would be marquis in the 5th inning wednesday nite |

I have a feeling Ted Lilly will hang one right over the plate for him. |

I'd take Demp in the 8th in a 4 out save situation, on Wed. |

It won't happen unless the Cubs are up by 5 or 6 runs... then, Sosa will hit a solo shot that does nothing to signifficantly help the team win the game. Marquis in the 6th. |

Looks like Silvy and Waddle stole your idea Frank. I would take Marquis in the 4th inning. |

I have seen "button 48" referenced a quite few times lately. What did I miss? Is that the hockey horn sound? |

Thanks Zack, I'm familiar with the bite, just not the button . I first heard it when Mac briefly worked with Jiggs on the score. |

Longtime lurker, first time poster... Thanks to Sammy for hitting it, Marquis for serving it up, and most of all to Frank for pitching the contest idea to the guys! I guess I should be happy Sosa hit his 600th against the Cubs after all. Now I'll be able to replace my Zambrano jersey should he find himself in another uniform next season. |
