Loved JDs idea of the 1995 Wildcats (surprise surprise).

Call it "Purple Reign" Image

or even "the Real Deal"Image

How about CSI's George Eads to play Pat Fitzgerald:

Coby Bell could play Darnell Autry. He plays a football player on that show The Game, which I'm sure that only a handful of you seen. Then again Autry wanted to be an actor, so he could play himself.

Don't you mean Keyshawn? Jake Plummer was at ASU, correct?

Rosie O'Donnell can play Dyche Stadium.

Nope... it was Coach Robinson's and Keyshawn Johnson's USC team. They mauled us. Hurt bad, but at least I had fun in Cali.

That one caught me off guard. Great post.

Back to Darnell Autry, how big of a d-bag does he look like now. He had guaranteed money that he left in order to pursue acting. He could have probably stuck around the NFL for 5 years and gotten a pension, which would have given him the ability to pursue acting. Now, I have seen him bouncing at a bar.

Not to mention he was horrible. I saw him once and you had to close your ideas.

How about Richard Harris as Matt Hartl.

Yep... he's wishing he'd stuck around. But I doubt that he would've stuck around the NFL for five years. As much as I loved watching him play, I don't think he would have made it. His heart wasn't in it. He was like Ricky Williams without the drugs (and not nearly the talent).

If a younger Harry Teinowitz is required in the movie (perhaps stumbling drunk in the stands), I think Jonah Hill from "Accepted, "Knocked Up" and "Super Bad" is a dead ringer:

That's a good one Beef. I bet Harry had the curly Joo-Fro back when he was a kid.

I wonder if I would have despised Revenge of the Nerds if Harry got the role as Booger. I don't see how Harry could have played the part well. Sure, he is a nerd, but Booger was the cool nerd. Harry would have been more believable as Takashi.

Thinking even further, whoever it was that did not cast Harry in that role really helped to shape my youth. Harry would have ruined things like Moonlighting and One Crazy Summer for me, as well as the Nerds franchise.

It was in "Risky Business" that Curtis Armstrong got the role instead of Harry.

Both flicks he stole the role from Harry - Revenge of the Nerds and Risky Business.

The dude was unrecognizable in "RAY" with Jamie Foxx

Harry said he was called back 5 times for Booger. The constant 5 o'clock shadow really gives Armstron a scheevey look that Harry would never be able to achieve. Maybe Harry could have played the red headed nerd who played the clarinet.

I saw Superbad a few days ago. HYSTERICAL! This guy truly is a younger version of Harry Teinowitz. The 'dancing' scene aftermath ranks up there with the funniest (grossest) moments in a long long time. I guess Scott Stifler drinking the jizz is the next closest thing.

The only difference is that Hill is actually funny.

Good call, the ACTOR that played Stifler has a last name of Scott. My bad.

Speaking of American Pie.... how the mighty have fallen. Is there ANYBODY from that cast that's doing anything of significance now other than the band camp chick and Eugene Levy? Stifler's Mom is in a few movies here and there too I guess. Shannon Elizabeth is now making a name for herself by appearing at poker tournaments. ooh boy.

The guy that played Finch is in the sitcom with Brad Garrett on Fox (assuming the show wasn't cancelled).
