Cutler dropped one too. But, I'll bet he didn't do it last week. And I'll bet Cutler didn't talk about how they were working to fix it all week either. |

Check and see how many of those guys dropped the snap though Grid. Until those numbers show that, your argument is moot. |

Rex is poised to be better than all of them then since based on the last 2 games, he's on pace to fumble the snap 32 times this year, not counting the times he'll put the ball on the ground from blindside hits, botched handoffs, and the games he's got dinner plans and just isn't interested. |

I'll predict right now that Grossman will lose his job to Griese this year. |

I'll really go out on a limb and say Grossman will lose his job to Bob Griese this year. (*Actually I think Rex will have a good year. ) |

Are you saying Philip Rivers isn't a better QB than Grossman? |

Quote: A fumble is a fumble regardless if it was a dropped snap or not.
True. However, a dropped snap is entirely controllable, and should not be equated with being stripped of the ball during a play; in that case, there is at least an element of challenge to the quarterback to assist, if not directly cause, the fumble. Dropped snaps are something that only the quarterback can control. |

if a defensive end comes in from the blind side and knocks the QB senseless and the ball pops free (i.e., mark anderson on matt linert last season), thats just tough luck. shit like that happens a few times a season. no quarterback should EVER drop a SNAP...especially indoors, or in perfect weather conditions like there was saturday at soldier field. |

Thanks for not talking about Briggs for the whole show. But only one did it in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl and I bet the ones that dropped snaps this week did not drop one the week before. Also, most were probably not on teams that are expected to win the whole thing. |
