I actually caught part of an interview with Riv this morning on with North. He basically said that he told his defense that they could rattle Grossman, but he denied calling him a mental midget. The quote was from one of the Chargers' defensive players and it sounded like he embelished a bit. The Benson stuff also came from a Chargers' defensive player (can't recall who).... |

Benson is soft and Grossman hasnt done enough in the NFL to disprove the notion that defensive players can rattle him. |

I believe the players involved were Shaun Philips and Matt Wilhelm. |

Well Phillips did his best early on to listen to Rivera. |

But Rex didn't fold after that hit by him. I cringed when I saw that hit. I thought he'd be out for the game but he came right back (although he was wincing a little). |

Showed alot of toughness there. Still not sure if he has the skills to be a good QB, but he seems pretty tough. |

That doesn't sound like something that Rivera would say. |

I'm sure he was wishing the plane taking them back to Chicago had a jacuzzi / hot tub on it . Something tells me he was awfully sore Monday (and yesterday). |

Yeah that was a fun game to watch. I much prefer games like that over the NYG/Dallas type games that nobody can stop anybody. |
