So, you don't listen during football season - September through early February - and you don't listen during basketball season, which runs November through June. I think you are being naive to think that Mac is going to take too seriously comments from someone who by his own admission maybe listens 3 months a year, don't you?

I understand what you are getting at by saying you might listen if they talked more basketball, but even then 6 months a year? They have plenty of listeners who are there year-round that I think they would be give more weight to, no?

Yeah I agree, Ill still listen to the show after february but its much less entertaining. Going to more Bulls games doesnt necessarily mean you will know more about basketball. Just as much if not more can be learned from watching the games. Watching the countless games on TNT or ESPN will be helpful also. It would be nice to hear somebody behind the mics actually know something about the NBA besides the bulls. The few times I have tuned into B&B on the subject I have not found them to be much better.

I pretty much never go a day without tuning in for at least 30 minutes and I completely agree with Nas's comments

I don't really care if you watch more basketball. I listen all year but enjoy the show more when the guys are hyped about things, i.e. football, baseball or even golf and fishing. If your passionate about it then let me hear it. I don't care about passionate soccer people though so i guess i like what i like.

Maybe Im tuning in at the wrong times but Ive never found them to be very knowledgable about basketball. They always seemed like the type of guys who read the box scores and consider basketball a second tier sport, much like everybody else in the sports radio community.

B&B did say that Chris Webber was a sure fire hall of famer. They talk and follow basketball but I don't think I would consider them experts. I'm not either but I can name a lot of players who will get in over him.

boers and bernstein are too busy making fun of callers to know about the bulls.

MJH is getting a bit more aggravated at callers these days, especially when the caller asks, "How are you guys doing?" Yikes.

Boers covered the Bulls when Jordan came in the league and next to Hood no one in Chicago sports radio has more basketball knowledge than Bernstein. Both are good listens during the season.

You just broke Carmen's heart, Nas  .

Buryman I can understand why they seem more ajitated lately. HOW many times have you heard them say that they are fine even before they take the call. And then the caller says "hey, how ya doin". It's annoying to listen to.

I actually thought he was a fool for leaving Illinois early  . I think that Arizona game (especially the last couple minutes) jetisoned his career to a new level.

Luckily for you they moved their farm team to Peoria so you won't have to fly anywhere.

I say jury is still out on that one. I know Tony Parker has a history of making PG's look like HOFers, but that was an awesome playoff run for him last year and he really steps up his game when it matters, a sign of a great player.

He said he wasn't that good to trade 3 1st round picks for. He was right. When you consider Chris Paul is a better player.

Chris Paul may be better athlectically but DWill seems like he has more heart and leadership abilities.

I resolve to call her up a thousand times a day
And ask her if shell marry me in some old fashioned way
But my silent fears have gripped me
Long before I reach the phone
Long before my tongue has tripped me
Must I always be alone?

Seeing as my wife is Jewish, I can do some resolutions today

I resolve to not pick on Rex (until his next turnover so I have roughly 96 hours for that).

I resolve to not make fun of Mud and Cat fans like him (until 18 thousand or less show up in Evanston this weekend)

I resolve to stop giving Doug shit about the way he wears his hat (well, until he shows another picture of him in it)

I resolve to stop confusing you guys about me and hawkeye.

I disagree spmack. Paul makes everyone around him better. He even managed to make Chandler an offensive weapon. While Williams seems to be a playoff type of player I would take Paul over him if I were starting a team. Just my thoughts.

Chris Paul and Deron Williams get the job done differently, but that's about as even as you can get.

I'd probably take Chris Paul for his athletic ability, but Deron Williams is an animal.

It could go down the road of Manning/Brady. I bet Paul will always have better stats but Deron gets the job done when it matters and I would love to have him if I was on a team that could compete. I heard the workouts with Stockton really did have a huge impact on him.

If Stockton has that much impact on a player game from one year to the next then he needs a job in the NBA. I give Jerry the most credit. He knows what types of guards he likes and he always gets the most out of them. The most underrated coach in NBA history.

I dont disagree with you but Deron has attributed alot of his improvement to those workouts and you can really tell the difference year to year. Jerry Sloan obviously helped out alot, as did their forwards.
